It’s why I’m still a bit reticent to get carried away with the current run and potential of the current crop, although the green shoots are there (I hope 🤞)

I think this lot have also caused a lot of discourse on here over the last few years as well. We all want the club to be successful and depending on your point of view, some of these you may have liked/rates more than I have

I really hope the corner is being turned, or at least foundations are being put in place to turn it, because for me personally, I’ve really disliked a lot of the above list and consider some of them the worst we’ve ever had

Rumours are so out of date, they are to titivate the supporters of clubs between signings, the signings are what actually matters. No rumours and decent players are better than rumours and then dross brought in.

When you look at that team (and most particularly the subs bench) it does make me think that actually we've made a bit more progress than I thought. There's still some quality players in there of course but that squad would disintegrate like rotten wood if it tried to play Jonesball.
