Didnt realise he was still playing, surprised he's only 330

Is it? In terms of his experience yes, but he's a 33 year old out of favour at a Championship side, so a drop into league one doesn't seem that crazy. He's played 600 minutes of league football since April 2023.YannTheMann said:

Leaves just 5 teams with no incomings so far in January. As with the summer Reading are not really relevant to the conversation, so just 4 that could make signings but haven't yet. Charlton, Rotherham, Stevenage and Wrexham.0

Can't see Wrexham doing much, think they spent some decent fees already. Rotherham also signed quite a few players on freebies didn't they? Would be surprised to see either make any moves.

they did but they’re showing that getting business done early isn’t always a good thing. wouldn’t be surprised if they try to plug a gap or twoBraziliance said:Can't see Wrexham doing much, think they spent some decent fees already. Presumably you're on about Rotherham and not Wrexham here?fenaddick said:

Rotherham have been underwhelming, but they've picked it up a bit lately.0 -
I'd expect Wrexham to make a couple of moves. If a CB came up that was an upgrade on O'Connell I could see that happening0

Yeah I was, considering they were starting at a base of having been in the division above with a manager who has a proven track record in this division their season has been a major disappointmentBraziliance said:

Not completely league1 relevant, but I didn't realise Crama was recalled from Brentford.

Unfortunately, I think that's a very good signing for Millwall. One of the best centre backs on the ball, if not the best in league 1.0 -
Ffs 😂

His hometown club, so a nice way to probably finish his career I imagine.Richard J said:Clucas has signed for Lincoln0 -
Joe Hugill was on loan at Wigan from Man U, now he's gone on loan to Carlisle. Never a good sign when a young player's loan spells are going backwards...0

Owen Dale looks set to join Leyton Orient.
Think he would have been ideal for us.
Its a tough watch to see small clubs like Orient & Wycombe slowly building better & more successful squads than us.1 -
was an absolute monster in his Blackburn days, had a good career at Norwich, getting a bit injury prone, should strengthen an already formidable Brum squadMarcusH26 said:https://x.com/bcfc/status/1880224893020565999?s=46&t=B8W5BMzam0rXuCmZFe8eyg

Marko Marosi, experienced lower league keeper joins Cambridge on loan from Plymouth on a short term deal .. i m o he is just the type we should have been looking at for a trial/cover/with a view to a 1st team place .. Marko Maroši - Wikipedia0

His name came up in the summer, I think a few weren’t keen as they didn’t rate him.Lincsaddick said:Marko Marosi, experienced lower league keeper joins Cambridge on loan from Plymouth on a short term deal .. i m o he is just the type we should have been looking at for a trial/cover/with a view to a 1st team place .. Marosi not any better than what we already have in AMB and Mannion.5

must have been VERY short discussions .. the only reference on here to Marosi that I found was praise from Lee Bowyer after we played Doncaster (2018) is 'their keeper (Marosi, my input) made a couple of good saves'Callumcafc said:Marosi not any better than what we already have in AMB and Mannion.0 -

It was hidden deep down in the huge rumours thread. Someone had heard our trialing GK was Marosi, there were concerns he wasn’t good enough. I passed on that I heard it was a young blond GK, and it turned out to be Tommy Reid who later signed for us.Lincsaddick said:Scoham said:

On 1 November 2024, Waghorn joined League One side Northampton Town on a short-term deal.
On 17 December 2024, he departed the club having had his contract terminated by mutual consent.
