Paul Joyce at The Times reporting the same. Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman taking charge of tonight’s game0

Their game against Peterborough goes ahead tonight after a safety meeting so we might know more tonight if Dyche is in the dugou or not.JohnBoyUK said:Dyche gone according to Talksport!0 -
Loads of news outlets running it now and all at the same time, seems like totally utterly bizarre timing1

Wonder who Everton think they can get in to do better, unless this is coming from the new owners?0

Jose Mourinho has been backed last few days.ForeverAddickted said:Wonder who Everton think they can get in to do better, unless this is coming from the new owners?
He was previously sacked by the same owners at Roma so you would have to wonder how that would work.1 -

Seems like Jose spends every press conference complaining about being at Fenerbache so I think he'd take any chance of another shot in the Prem.0 -

You have to listen to this Everton Man (Steve) 'he (Dyche) was the man to take us to Bramley Moor dock' x 3 times very emotional.0 -
            Wow.
I'm actually at the game tonight, as a way of visiting Goodison before the move to the new stadium. Will be really interesting how the home fans react.4 -

Everton confirmed under-18s head coach Leighton Baines and club captain Seamus Coleman will take charge of the team for that game. So basically expect a mix of the first team and youth? Seamus Coleman is player/joint caretaker manager?!MrOneLung said:well the caretaker manager gonna be busy for the next 3 hours picking the team and getting his tactics across....

Mick Lynch has announced his retirement.

My son told me that when ex players meet and talk about the time I managed them in youth football, some refer to me as Sean Dyche. It might not be meant positively but I have always taken it as a great compliment. I think Everton have made a big mistake.2

I'll miss his left wing wizardry .clive said:Mick Lynch has announced his retirement.

To think a few years ago Rooney was odds on to get (the Everton job). Now not even a considered.0

They're hoping to replace him with Haaland, as they want another prolific striker.clive said:Mick Lynch has announced his retirement.

At least if Jones went back to Luton we could all discuss the merits of getting Dyche in to replace him now.1

Premier League managers sacked this season:
Erik Ten Haag (Dutch)
Steve Cooper (British)
Gary O'Neill (British)
Russell Martin (British)
Julen Lopetegui (Spanish)
Sean Dyche (British)
So, that's four of the six British managers in situ at the start of the season sacked with only Eddie Howe and Kieran McKenna surviving but just two of the 14 foreign managers losing their jobs.
I've heard on the grapevine that Samuel D'Allardyce, with his newly acquired French passport, is eagerly watching developments at West Ham.3 -
An incredible 51 of the 92 league clubs have a manager who hasn't currently been in the role for 1 year yet.
A further 20 haven't yet been in the role for 2 years.
