    Enjoyed the final episode tonight.

One thing though: I'm surprised they didn't pick up on the fact that during the 'count the chairs' task Andy said a number ("I couldn't eat a whole one").

Thought it was a great series with a great cast. Not having one really strong contestant definitely helped, as much as I love John Robins

After a slow start I thought this series got better as it went on. By the end, it was in credit.

I also found some of Rosie’s stuff funny, which I usually don’t. Maybe because I often think her jokes are a bit obvious and lame, but here she was really inventive and quite silly, which I liked.
I think the Taskmaster environment does something to comedians that I’m not a fan of. It was the same for me with Chris Ramsey - can’t stand him usually, but didn’t mind him on this.

Yeah agree it was a slow burner, and it was the studio stuff that made me crack up, particularly Emma Sidi when she was dishing it out. I'm a Rosie Jones fan and thought the chaos she brought was great, they always get a good mix.

I've also seen the children's one, which I watched with my 10 year old, and that was good as well. Kids weren't annoying like I feared.

The kids version does make me happy that if Alex ever missed a series for any reason there's a readymade replacement in the excellent Mike Wozniak.

There is a problem with the kids one, that girl last night was so cute it that upset so much when she lost, I nearly wrote to Channel 4 to complain.
  • Just watched the final programme of the series...enjoyed it thoroughly. Good balance of comedians. Emma was the stand out for me particularly when taking on the Rosie disabled stuff early on (rather brave but it cleared the air wonderfully). Rosie was good too. She played the "my hero" stuff with Jack well and some of her gifts were a hoot. She also provided a laugh out loud moment with Alex 'baby Jesus' Horne.

Random Charlton content in tonight's Taskmaster - apparently Herman Hreirdarrson gave David James a stuffed puffin.

I'm going to need a whole series with Professor Hannah Fry. She's absolutely made for the show.

No new cast announcement on the end either which is very unusual.

Apparently he would gift one to each of his teammates whenever they got relegated.

That’s why Puffins are now on the extinction watch list.

It's leaked if you Google it. They're withholding it due to some agreement with TV networks in the US.

Thought tonight's episode was largely rubbish.

Jason Manzoukas is going to be brilliant. Think the only slight doubt I have is Rosie Ramsay because I only know her from her podcast with Chris.

I THINK this is the first time we'll have had both halves of a married couple on the show, so that might influence how she goes about things....

Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont were still married when she appeared. Although you couldn't get 2 more contrasting people really, she still baffles me.

Have just applied for tickets to the filming of the series after next. Have been to see it filmed a couple of times a while back, but not holding out much hope. Haven't got them the last 3 times I have tried.

We used to put pints on people's hands in the pub like they did with the jars!

Pretend it was going to be a magic trick then leave them sitting there with the full drink on each hand.

I very much enjoyed that. I'm surprised more wasn't made of Fatiha's ability to bend her fingertips back in the fish tank task, but my favourite bit was Rosie's shout of triumph at finding the pea. The final task was absolutely mental.

That was a very strong start, this cast has quite good potential too. I’m looking forward to this series (not season, Jason ).

Proper belly laughs. I barely know this years contestants (probably Matt the most and only from horrible histories and ghosts) but that doesn't bother me much. I think based on one episode they have the mix bang on. Loved the backwards task.

Watching Mat feels like watching Mark Watson return to the programme, which isn't a bad thing

Not quite as good as the first episode but still very good. The live task was a bit disappointing (especially after last weeks) but the "RTT" was good, plus Alex was clearly having fun winding people up in the filling the bucket task.

Yeah this is a better series than I was expecting. I had some doubts as I only knew Jason and Mat.
