The club as a whole should be pulling in the same direction and putting all of their efforts in getting the standard on the pitch up to scratch and nothing else. Until that happens all this commercial stuff is pointless.
But as you can see with this sorry effort, ego Methven is cracking on with his own endeavours just so he can say he's done his bit when the yanks start pointing fingers.
Until the dynamics of this football club change, it will never succeed.
What is wrong is some of the commercial guff like this, which is amateurish and which is unlikely to add a net single penny to revenue (and if it does it will be so negligible that it will put at question the time and effort in organising).
The counter argument may be that any type of activity that "enhances" the match day experience is of long term value. Sadly this doesn't enhance anything. Know your audience...10 -

They can't even get the time right in the graphic. It's a 12:30 kickoff
K/O now corrected.
Let’s see if questioning what ‘darts-related activates’ are or whether it should be ‘activities’ is taken on board.

Also, dartboard is one word.

Beat me to it, what was 'activates' meant to mean?

Would such a decision come under the umbrella of ‘communications’?0 - Sponsored links:

I'm still struggling to get past the first line, "Two things go hand in hand during this festive period". What two things are they then? Holly and Ivy? Mistletoe & Wine? Santa and Reindeer? Morcambe and Wise? Turkey and Cranberry? Rate and Plate? Epic Boozing and Monumental Hangovers? No, none of those things. Of course, Football and Darts - the perfect accompaniment to each other. Obviously, no-one goes to football without bringing their arrows, and nobody plays darts without feeling the need to nod a few headers into the old onion bag. I've never read such nonsense.17

Overall this campaign seems fairly harmless to me. The club got slagged off for trying to market our matches as something exciting to do, now they’re getting slagged off for trying to tie into something that’s pretty popular at the moment (the darts, not Charlton!).0 -

Bonne has played turned out for four of those clubs, that probably makes him statistically the most depressing player for a club to sign .8

Either you’re a true loyal 100% Addick (in good times or bad), or you aren’t.
I could say more.🤐
Have a lovely day at Dartford.🫤4 -

QPR are 4th and paid £1.5-2m for Bonne, makes sense too.
My top 15 would be completely different. Colchester, Oldham, Stevenage, Burnley.and Wimbledon off the top of my head.1 -
