Momentous occasion. We've finally found our first AI-generated player marks poster10 -
You can just see the confidence draining from the players, especially the youngsters. So many terrible first touches today that are examples of that. Jones doesn't appear to have any clue to how to address but I honestly believe a better manager could get a tune out of this squad.3

The bench containing all the high profile summer signings shows how bad recruitment has been2

CAFC_Arthur said:Gillesphey constantly proves he’s not good enough for the team. No intensity, too many missed passes and not keeping up with the play. Would rather see Dan Potts playing there.2

fenaddick said:We definitely tried to play it forward more. Feels like we're trying to do the attacking work that should have been done in pre season but pre season was all about the defensive side. I think this season is probably done and that's not good enough but I can see the second half of the season being better than the first1

Was almost disappointed we didn't concede in the first half from one of the many times our midfield was carved open and Mansfield sauntered into our box unchallenged. At least a defeat may have hastened NJ's departure but the 3 clowns who make up our senior management team aren't going to sack themselves too so they would only replace them with another useless git.
Today was dire our midfield was non-existent - there's no build up play, TC is not a wing back, 3 CBs against an even weaker attack than ours is just wrong. Players who looked half decent earlier this season now look like they'd struggle to get in a Sunday park league team. Everything is going backwards and if something doesn't change soon we'll be sucked into a relegation battle.
I've had enough.9 -

Cupboard_Monkey said:Another game on a knife edge but lacking any real quality up front, despite us ending with four strikers on the pitch. Mansfield were on top first half, we had a decent spell in the second, but neither side did enough to deserve the win. The ref? Gave them everything, though thankfully we didn’t give him the chance to point to the spot. The bigger concern for me is how flat we’ve become. At the start of the season, the energy was there; now it’s like the team’s either burnt out or stopped buying into Jones’ plan. For those calling for his head, who do you actually think we can get? Personally, I’d give him January to sort the squad. Knee-jerk changes now might just set us back even further.4

View of the North stand , from the South stand, sent to me by a Mansfield fan, nearly as sparse as our attacking play.

One goal scored in the last 4 games.
It's certainly not promotion form, is it?3 -

Just had a quick look at the stats and we weren’t caught offside once, that must be pretty rare but also shows either a lack of runners or we didn’t try to find them enough1
-
It is very frustrating watching us. There is either a lack of ability or a lack of confidence. Possibly both. I would say that we will probably stay up but relegation looks far more possible than promotion. It isn't the odd game we are frustrating, it is every game. Jones, this is not good enough and needs sorting.0

If we lose to Northampton, we're gonna be right in the shit. I just can't believe that is even one person who thinks we should keep Jones. The bloke is a disaster, his set up, style of play and substitutions are absolute crap. To make it worse, he is totally deluded. The SMT won't sack him because they too are incompetent shites.11

Gillesphy is an absolute disaster
as for the rest of them MEH
how the fuck did Anderson stay on the pitch so long, yes he runs around a lot - but we could all do that - his touch is abysmal
took off Godden and left on Kanu WTF?, not his biggest fan but I’d have bought GAS on the partner Godden at HT
Leaburn so far off the pace it’s unreal at the moment.I genuinely didn’t think this season could be worse than last…..2 -
Bored, bored, bored. The only thing that brightened up the day was the sight of a massive blow up penis, being waved in the air by a fan in the away end,4
-
Just a reminder - a 14,000 crowd would mean the home stands were over 50% occupied. Looked more like 30% to me.

He is seriously deluded. Nice one Nath, a team we can all be proud of. We're brave, front-footed and going after teams.

would you honestly rather he said we’re utter garbage and he’s out of ideas?
again people acting surprised that jones is trying to find positives from a load of shite but that’s literally his job.
If he said it how it was he’d be sacked and we’d all be accusing him of giving up and still having no idea11 -
