Worse league performance I’ve seen in 40 years of support - and that’s saying something in recent times.Constantly, CONSTANTLY hitting it long mostly without aiming for a target.
No plan. No game intelligence. Aimlessly heading the ball back from where it came, not taking it down and passing.When we should have been dominating in the last 15m, Crawley suddenly realised we were just lumping it into their centre halves hoping for the best and started passing it, grew in confidence and scored.
Feeble and embarrassing.

Its an issue thats happened time and again in recent seasons, where players defend the goal like statutes, they're too reactionary... Shit somethings happened, I need to do something... rather than think ahead of what might happen and be in the right place when it does... You dont need pace when you can do that.

Years of decline just continues, thought he might be the man to turn this fast slide into oblivion around but obviously he isn't. No idea who can, but need to try someone else at the helm... Mark Robins, I don't know, starting to feel like the decline is unstoppable right now.

I'll repeat what I put on match thread. I've been a defender of Jones, but tonight was utter, utter garbage! If we get rid who on earth do we get in that can turn this around? Let's face it every manager we've had for the last 5 yrs have failed!
Who in their right mind would even apply for the job? I guess a few more journeyman managers who are crap anyway!
I can't think of one stand out manager that would apply. Mark Robins will go to.the Championship I think, maybe Plymouth when Rooney is sacked!
Tonight we didn't have a clue and AMB is a poor keeper, why take Coventry off and leave old man Campbell on? Tactics, non-existent!
As a previous Jones supporter....I'm out!

Imagine playing for a manager who just squawks and shrieks on the touchline. Compare his demeanour with Elliott’s tonight. Seems the players have reached the point where it’s just white noise now and there seems little cohesion between players and manager.33

Their second goal just perfectly demonstrated how little our players are arsed. 17 odd passes and we didn't get near them. We let someone run 30 yards untouched, watch him play an underhit cross field pass, then stand off the man and allow him to shoot before finally not closing down the rebound.
Every single one of them can fuck off as far as I'm concerned. Jones is a big problem but these players are properly shit.9 -

Left when we went 2-1 down. Having a beer and digesting one of the worst performances I’ve witnessed in a while.No creativity, no width, no belief, no clue.If Apples was in charge tonight the atmosphere would have been toxic.Jones needs to go… and take A Campbell, Potts & Hylton with him!7

Didn't think we would regress after Appleton but actually we just keep on hitting new lows. Don't know what the answer is now. Resigned to being a bottom half League 1 club.2

The kindest thing I can say about this result is it was always going to happen given it's the first time we've played them in the EFL. That's all I've got, superstition. They haven't won away since August and they just had a mare in the FA Cup, this should have been easy. They didn't play well, didn't look good and barely broke a sweat. Scored, switched off and gave us space to score and then tried again until they scored their second. We didn't even build up a head of steam at the end, just whimpered away. I'm not having this worst team ever stuff, there's some decent players there, they're just being told to lump it up to Mars and for some reason they're listening. I'm tired of seeing these players make these decisions every single game. Just once I want to see a few passes or someone get put through on goal instead of capitalising on a cross or a knockdown. I'm tired. I hate that we're constantly on TV so I can't not see it.Jones has to change his plan, that's the end of it. If he can't figure out a plan for them then he has to leave them alone to do it themselves because his on-pitch micromanagement isn't working for anyone this season. I want it to stop.14
