Terribly missed, and I'm not afraid to say it.
Not sure about him vs Berry
He's definitely better than the others we've tried in the number 8 positions

Anyone who thinks we have upgraded on George needs to give their head a wobble. He walks into our team in any of the current midfield slots. If it is ever proven that Scot is responsible for him leaving he should be sacked immediately7

Lol lol …oh dear Dobson would be about 5th choice no where near as good as Coventry, Berry or Doc … it was Dobson who left the club who signed for another club no one held a him to his head , the only person who should be sacked is his agent / adviser0 -
Troll off you bore.
Don't bite anyone.7 -
Dobson was great last season for us, fact.
Coventry has been great this season so far for us, fact.
Of the two who would I have? Coventry. He's more calm, breaks up play in a more disciplined manner (doesn't lunge into slide tackles) and his range of passing is just as good as Dobson's, plus he takes set pieces (yes they need more work but hey at least we've scored from one, and his free kick yesterday was good) he's also got, I believe, a higher career ceiling than Dobbo.
However I would take Dobbo over Campbell, definitely, and probably over Docherty too overall9 -
Notice he has not been getting in the Wrexham team as of late.
Shows there strength in depth I suppose.1 -
Bring him home4

Wrexham fans seem to really like him but believe Matty James is just a little bit better. Parky tried playing Dobson in a more box to box role a couple times but he struggled in that role.0

Explains why they’re losing!0

I genuinely couldn’t be arsed to get my phone out, open the betting app and put that bet on for 1 pound and 69 ruddy pence profit.6

It's the 2nd time he's posted up a win for a couple of quid.
80% he's serious
20% he's 'avin a larf.0 -

People can add a zero or two to increase thrill level... and potential/inevitable loss
This is just controlled enjoyment.
I've been working with a tenner since the start of the season on my skybet account. Got up to about 14 quid at one point. Now at a fiver. I like the challenge of working on this level.
Sure...have bet big before and had e.g. a couple of grand riding on Charlton top half finishes (no, not last season!)... but... this is still enjoyable
If you bet long term as a mug punter, the bookie wins
I'd rather lose my tenner than a grand. The challenge of the bet is the same27 - Sponsored links:

Can't really argue with you there. I started my Bet365 account about twenty five years ago with a tenner and I've never topped it up, though I have taken out £100 twice when the balance reached £300.Most of my bets are peanuts and I do use free bets and enhanced odds to give myself a guaranteed small profit from time to time. It isnt going to change my life nor will their algorithm ban me for doing too well. Its just for amusement and keeping score really2

There's a lot of macho competitiveness when it comes to gambling and the size of winnings - only ever winning. The geyser's predicted a treble. Good on you, mate. Doesn't matter what the stake was. A win's a win!5

As someone who had/has a gambling problem(not had a proper sports bet for 11 years now ) I’d love to have got enjoyment/pain at this level but my issue was if it didn’t hurt(make me feel sick ) the bet wasn’t big enough and then the pleasure wasn’t there if it won and even if it won I’m so fucked in the head I didn’t bet enough .
bet£3.65 banned restricted me even though I was a loser , ‘we don’t like your style’ wtf I lose more often than not and only use you if you’re best price , weirdos , 5 bets all around a grand each over a couple,of years and all around evens . Messi any time scorer at 8/11 came in and next day it was you can have £9 on Rooney anytime scorer .
We all have different thresholds and fair play to swords alive having a cheap hobby, I’d loved to have lost pennies rather than lots of pounds .
good luck to all , fuck the bookies10 -
I noticed both Shrewsbury goals were OConell mistakes. He is getting a lot of criticism from Wrexham fans.0

Macho competitiveness lol. More like what’s the actual point in putting a bet on to make a quid in profit. People that put on a couple of quid to get a score back I can understand - you can buy a bottle of wine or a takeaway. But what does one do with 2 quid?0 -

Fair enough if you can afford to lose more and choose to go that way.0
