What we do have to realise is Southgate was never planned for to be the first team manager. He was meant to be overseeing the wider project around English football and whilst he has been the beneficiary of that with the players coming through I would hope the FA don't lob the baby out with the bathwater as whatever we are doing from grassroots seems to be working and I'd hate us to break that. I'd also be happy to see Gareth Southgate be given the opportunity to go back to the initial plan of overseeing everything at St George's Park as was the original plan

This isn’t new news. There was reports back in Germany that he had an attitude problem at wasn’t popular with his team mates. 

I know but they are bringing it all back up and talking about other players being put out by the adidas hey Jude advert etc , it wouldn’t be getting brought up if someone had got themselves sent off at 1-1 in the final as they’d be getting hounded instead

Probably because he spent too much time falling to the floor too easily and then staying there.
He also had a "face on" throughout the tournament.
He made me think of those other black men Ronaldo (Portugal) and Charlie Kirk.

The former England Women's manager was mooted to be in line for the vacant Gillingham managers post around the time she jacked England. Me and a couple of others who post on this board knew a player there at the time and he confirmed there would have been a very abrupt revolution if she had been given the role. 

I dont think Paul Ince, Sol Campbell and many other pro licence black coaches are entirely without merit in pointing out the lack of black managers. To then appoint a female manager would make a mockery of the whole thing and would be the biggest virtue signal of all time and nothing more. 

I really don't understand the fixation with comparing what might as well be 2 separate games in the mens and womens sports. There should be no crossover, I'm glad for the England womens team for their recent achievements but I cant lie and say I'm a fan because I think the standard of football that's being given prime time exposure is shit frankly and thats backed up by attendances. There is plenty of space for the 2 to co-exist without this false pushing by sky of the female game, and be in no doubt. Sky dont give a monkeys about the female game they are just virtue signalling in the same way BBC and ITV do in having token female ex professionals on their broadcasts now who unless unbeknown to me are fast-tracked journalists or first hand experts in te mens game have no place being there beyond some grey haired scared white posh prick being terrified he will lose his job if he doesn't fill supposed quotas

Because its a chat forum and people were doing a solid impression of making a case for the Dutch female manager of the England womens team being seriously considered for the most high profile role in the English mens professional game. 

And I don’t have the slightest issue with female veterans talking with authority and experience on primetime TV for the womens game. 

In all honesty the serious candidates are 
Lee Carsley and Ashley Cole 
Graham Potter with whoever his assistant is 
Eddie Howe with incredibly Jason Tindal as his number 2

It was started by people suggesting a woman and then calling the fans bigots!

Still don't think this is the thread for this but for the right of reply:
 I explained why Sarina Weigman was a total non starter and you nearly copied what I said verbatim even saying Phil Neville shouldn't have got the England women's job as he had no experience in women's football just like Weigman has no experience of Men's football; you obviously agreed with me.

It basic football and biology common sense that any female coach would need to have worked in men's football for at least a decade lower down in the pyramid to even get a chance to manager a Kent league team. Unless they were the owner like a Marc White and make themselves manager.

I wish CEL had gone into detail who he thought were bigots ?  He threw a grenade in and waited for the fall out.
