At first I thought the Dr Will Abbott was being overdone a bit, in terms of what he has to offer.
After watching all these medicals, and some of the training footage, I have to say, he seems one of our most important acquisitions.
He seems to demand effort (in a positive way) and the whole operation looks way more professional than it was before.
I get the feeling if we are signing players, there shouldn't be many concerns about their fitness. He seems to be really on the ball in all videos.
Maybe I'm overhyping it, but it just seems a huge difference to me22 -
Think the biggest sign of this is Miles spending the summer at St George’s Park. No way this happens under any of our recent owners. It’s actually just reminded me of JFC basically doing an advert for one of TS’s products when recovering from his ACL injury. This is why you want to bring in your new players before you go away. Imagine having only 1 or 2 new signings there & then new team mares joining in later July just as the season starts. Not sure I've seen the lads put through their paces like that in pre-season training before. It might be because it wasn't recorded or we have a more professional setup. My guess is the latter.
It was all so passive and matey under Holden last season.7 -
