I'm truly not knocking the trip. But it's no wonder some footballers think they are something special. We're L1 & they enjoy a nice little trip to the heat of Slovenia, in order to prepare for a UK autumn where it's barely stopped raining in the UK for it seems @ 9 months. Good luck to them.
No danger of that with our boys, while you see some players walking about with their designer wash bags, our boys can’t even afford boot bags
I'm a bit worried that Adhadme doesn't know his boots go on his feet.
so long as they are not running spikes, could be very nasty if you have to break sudden.
I have to say as a very recently turned (in the weekend) 50 year old man, I feel a little weird looking at videos of half dressed young male campers bathing in a river. It is on the periphery of what I’d call my football / Charlton hobby at the very least…

It didn't bother me at all, in fact I watched it five or six times just to make sure, but then I have "never been confused,"
Kanu looked like he'd just taken the stabilisers off his bike
I was wondering yesterday what would happen if someone couldn't ride a bike. Maybe they've all spent the summer practicing so they don't look an idiot on camera
I saw a story online about fans taking the piss because we flew with Ryanair!
We're a league one team not a bunch of billy big bollocks Premier league stars
No need to waste money unnecesarily. A plane is a plane and it's only a couple of hours.
What's important is what they get from the trip - not the pampering they get one the way there and back. All I see is team bonding, smiles and banter. And, to be honest, that's exactly what I want to see.
I agree that they should not have any luxury paid for by the club and indirectly by us the fans. If the players want extras couldn’t they pay for them out of their own wages?

They're young men they don't need pampering. What do you think National Service was like?

To a certain extent being stuck on a budget airline with not much in the way of comfort is probably one of those experiences that will help bring them together in a "we're all in this as a team" kind of way.
I was beaten to it on X, but Small sounds just like Micah Richards! Both Brummies.
Micah Richards is from Harrogate, sorry to be one of those people!
Sorry to be one of those people but Micah Richards was indeed born in Birmingham but was raised in Chapletown, Leeds and trained at Leeds united from 6 years old until he was 8 as a striker. His Dad Lincoln ran a Brazilian style football coaching clinic in Chapletown, Leeds. He went to Man city at 14 after a short time at Oldham. I thought his career would be long and successful after seeing his powerful displays as a 17 year old. Micra still did fine and should've some decent money earning interest.

'We spent too much on Ahadme!' 'We didn't spend enough on flights!'

The boys will put in the hard yards to be fitter before the season starts.

We certainly have a fit bunch of lads ...handsome too.
Pity I don't recognise most of them with their togs off

I want to see misery and suffering. Time for a letter.
Dear Mr Jones
Im fucking discustard at the merriment displayed by the players in the recent video.
