I know it's only a few clips but you can see the quality is there. I'll never forget watching these a few seasons ago, it was a basic on-the-floor passing drill, and Stockley's touch was so bad that the ball flew up and he headed it back.
Can you?
Obviously clips are edited to provide the right impression, knowing full well fans will assume and judge!
Did you read the first part of that sentence sillav mate
Strange they didn't edit the Stockley one, perhaps that was the best clip of the day
At first I thought the Dr Will Abbott was being overdone a bit, in terms of what he has to offer.
After watching all these medicals, and some of the training footage, I have to say, he seems one of our most important acquisitions.
He seems to demand effort (in a positive way) and the whole operation looks way more professional than it was before.
I get the feeling if we are signing players, there shouldn't be many concerns about their fitness. He seems to be really on the ball in all videos.
Maybe I'm overhyping it, but it just seems a huge difference to me
Think the biggest sign of this is Miles spending the summer at St George’s Park. No way this happens under any of our recent owners. It’s actually just reminded me of JFC basically doing an advert for one of TS’s products when recovering from his ACL injury. Worlds apart from the current approach
I get tired just watching the young men going for it .. great stuff, they seem to be a VERY together group, players, coaches, manager and all .. can't wait for the Wigan 'truth test' lol

I did and my interpretation wrong or right was that you were suggesting, you could see the quality and I was simply questioning that.
Just the fact that the majority of the squad are getting to know each other here in Slovenia and not at Sparrows lane where they go home after a few hours is so important for the cliché I know but so important in team sport: team bonding.
Could be another false dawn but at least the club is trying to be Pro active in the recruiting and pre season arrangements.
This is why you want to bring in your new players before you go away. Imagine having only 1 or 2 new signings there & then new team mares joining in later July just as the season starts. No real camaraderie & players trying to get to know each other during the opening games of the season.
Thus is why we'll have much better season than the previous few.
Not sure I've seen the lads put through their paces like that in pre-season training before. It might be because it wasn't recorded or we have a more professional setup. My guess is the latter.
It was all so passive and matey under Holden last season.
Hints at this season’s squad numbers based on the clips? Doubt these will be final numbers… still got a few ins and outs to go yet.

TBD: Lucas Ness, Aaron Henry, Miles Leaburn, Chuks Aneke - can see Miles and Chuks keeping hold of 11 and 22.
Also @Garrymanilow will be fuming to see Godden wearing no. 4…
Chuks is wearing a training top with the number 1 on it in one of the videos so I reckon they’re just told to grab a clean shirt
Yes thrown a bit of a spanner into the system but a lot of the numbers in the list above have been very consistent across the three days of videos so far

If I got it wrong, then I stand corrected.
