    Re Small, one of the lads I teach played with him at youth level, he was pretty sure he wouldn’t want to stick around at Charlton long term unless we can show we’re going places!

    Re Humphries, one of the lads I work with is a Wigan fan, said he’d be good for us - “when he can be bothered he’s class, but when he can’t be bothered…” Wasn’t sure he sounded like an NJ signing based off that.

    Please can we stop this fascination with Stephen bloody Humphrys.

    I'm sure he's a decent player but he strikes me as another Connor Wickham type signing. Does a decent job but I'm more excited about building a young, fresh squad.

    Wigan forums comments about Humphrys generally all call.him a lazy footballer with talent. If that is the case NJ won't go anywhere near him.

    9 L1 goals for a team that finished 12th in L1, wasn't wanted in the Championship, 5 goals in L1 the season before that and 11 before that. Never really sure where the obsession with him on here comes from

    I just saw Stephen Humphrys at the Peninsular retail car park leaving Smyths toys. 

    I was curious what he was doing there, so I asked him what he's doing here, and what's he got in his hands? He was holding a lego set and gave me a little smirk and said: 'Just had an interview with Jonesy, and he's wanting players he can build something with, time to get this back to the gaffer and start putting the blocks in place now'. 

    He winked at me, got in his car, and sped off towards slow moving traffic. 

    Thought this was worth a share.
