    I have little time for the royal family, that said I wish her well and hope she makes a full recovery, as I would wish anyone with this horrible disease

    Perhaps it's true and she did photoshop the picture, you are just adding to the speculation by continuing to question why.

    Fair play  to the PoW for coming out and explaining her illness. As one who also decided to share my diagnosis, it's not an easy thing to do, and she is known the world over!
    I admire her honesty and can understand why she needed time to assimilate the cancer diagnosis.
    I wish her a full and speedy recovery and the fortitude to beat this awful disease.
    I can only hope the press and social media leave her alone, the treatment IS tough, belive me.

    I went through something similar at age 45 and my kids were 13 and 9 years old. It’s so sad they have been forced to go public. I was able to keep the reality of it from my 9 year old even though I had major surgery and chemo but unfortunately my 13 year old daughter who was aware, subsequently had serious anxiety and depression for years after watching me go through it and fearing the worst. They shouldn’t have been put in that situation. I really hope she has a positive outcome as I do anyone fighting cancer or living with the effects.

    Not when they announced the original surgery, no.

    And a ton were definitely wrong about her having left Wiliam and it being hidden, being locked away somewhere so she didn't tell some wild secrets, or the weirdest one I saw, that she was dead and Chales's cancer story was a line to get him to abdicate and give William some King's special immunity from a murder conviction!  The conspiracy theories were crazy.

    Agree that the weirdly cropped together photo being released was handled badly.

    I mean this is obviously just fringe nutjobs that clearly have too much time on their hands. Mostly limited to twitter. 

    The photo release gave those nutjobs enough oxygen to blow up the story into the press and wider audience. 

    Should've just been ignored until they were ready to share the details.

    Let’s face it, anyone with a modicum of common sense knew there was more than likely something out of the ordinary going on……but quite honestly who at the time really cared.
    Now we all know the truth of the matter we are suddenly showing that we do care and care very much….all the bullshit that’s gone on these last few weeks is nothing short of scandalous.
    A few people need to be taken to The Tower!

    Why did it need theories in the first place? And even then some of them were just plain stupid and others quite horrible. And the press are just pond scum...always have and always will be.

    Yeah. Not a surprise.  It must be pretty bad.

    I feel really sorry for her.  People have been desperate for an announcement.  Really hope they now leave the poor woman alone

    Could be anything, pancreatic, intestinal, ovarian, cervical, colon, you name it if it's in the abdomen it can get cancer.

    Wishing her all the best. She will get the best treatment that Western medicine can give which is the privilege of her position. After 14 years of mismanagement the NHS is under severe pressure and cancer treatment and waiting lists need to be improved bur will not be for the time being. Wishing the best for Kate knowing that what can be done will be done.

    What some sad lives people live that they need to know the ins and outs of other people's life.
    Some right sad b@stards out there now telling people I told you there was more to it.
    I just hope Kate wanted to give the interview,  rather than felt she was forced .
