I think he was shocked at how bad our defenders wereTalal said:

I don’t know mate. I know we’re porous at the back, but he is in his 60s nowTalal said:

What has happened to Jones, he's one of our biggest problems.0

Me too. He and Pearcey deserve credit for us finishing the stronger in the last 20 against a good side. When was the last time we were able to say that? On Charlton TV there was praise for Jones performance after his calamitous mistake and I saw two players picking him up and jeeing him up after he did it- and that wasn’t happening in the past either.Bailey said:I like Curtis Flemings take on things, very honest.
I’ll be “interested” to hear why McGilliphray had to come off, mind. Best case scenario he was carrying some kind of virus and couldn’t continue. Otherwise yet another question mark against our “performance” department.I see Corey started for Derby today (but was subbed on 64) so I guess he’ll be free to tear us to pieces next week. Epic fail by whoever did that deal with Derby.6 -
we're being accused by some Tangerine fans of being 'dirty' .. possibly, but it's about time we put some proper aggression into our play, all too often we have been accused of being too 'soft' .. well perhaps the softies have now toughened up under new management4

The big difference was for once it didn’t feel like we were clinging on by our finger nails. I actually thought we were going to nick the win.9

He went off as his hamstring was tight. Precautionary so he didn't injure himself and be out for 4 weeks as isual, with our players.PragueAddick said:

Well, TWatson/Assiimwe will be hoping CBT's hamstring is still tight next Saturday

We were shit pretty much all game. Set up to be solid and not concede but could easily have been 3 nil down at half time. We finished the game decently enough I guess but we need a seriously good manager to come in and sort this unfathomable mess out somehow.0

Just seen the highlights on the "rolling reels thread.
How did Jordan Rhodes miss that ??? If that was one of our strikers they would be pilloried on here til kingdom come.
Pleased with a point of course & we rode our luck because what I've just seen we really should have gone in at half time 3-0 down.
With those missess and May's deflected shot going in then maybe, just maybe, things are slowly turning around.5 -
iirc, don't think it matters, he is on loan, and can't play against us...Oggy Red said:Well, TWatson/Assiimwe will be hoping CBT's hamstring is still tight next Saturday

If it's Assimwe matched against CBT, Flemming doesn't know his players. Ohh for a Chris Solly to come into this defence. Need two on CBT to cope with his pace.Oggy Red said:Well, TWatson/Assiimwe will be hoping CBT's hamstring is still tight next Saturday

Which Chris Solly though? The good one, or the one that decided he didn't want to fulfil his contractual obligations to the club? The Prince-e-Paul said:

Fleming genuinely seems impossible to not like. In an ideal world he’s the perfect fit1
-
We are in a relegation battle.Every point we get now is vital.I’m not expecting us to get any points in Feb, but we will see.3
-
Just walked in the door. The best thing about that was it’s the closest I’ve ever parked to a ground. Forest Green and Cheltenham close contenders but Blackpool edges it.As for the game - a point stolen. It can’t paper over the cracks in terms lack of depth, lack of confidence, lack of a clear gameplan and lack in many areas of league one capability.
Still love going…18 -
Surely we allow him the chance to earn the job. Difficult games coming up so it won't be easy but he is as well placed as anybody to turn things around in the short term at least.Kinsella87 said:Fleming genuinely seems impossible to not like. In an ideal world he’s the perfect fit2 -
When you look at the stats, they had 16 shots, we had 13. They had 3 on target and so did we. That for an away side indicates a draw wasn't daylight robbery and they have the best home record in League One to boot.9

We definitely would have lost that if Appleton was here.
And, sometimes you make your luck. We’ve not had much of it so far this season so I’ll take it.2 -
With the position we're in, we cannot afford to take a punt on Fleming. No matter how well he comes across in an interview. If we were midtable and playing for nothing then fine, but we are in a proper relegation scrap.MuttleyCAFC said:

Looks like Jordan Rhodes has taken some goal scoring lessons from Macauley Bonne.14
-
Ideally we get someone good in and Fleming carries on as assistant.0
-
Surely we are taking a punt on whoever gets the job. With Fleming we can change it quickly if it doesn't work, with somebody else we are stuck with them and they have to get to know the team etc... We fall into the trap of looking at names that have done a good job somewhere and ignore the bad jobs. There is no way we can feel comfortable that any name in the running will do what is needed.Croydon said:

NEXT GAME AGAINST DERBY, THE ONLY WAY WE GET A RESULT IS IF THE VALLEY IS BOUNCING!
DRUMMER!
DRUMMER DO NOT STOP BANGING THE DRUM, EVEN WHEN THEY ARE ATTACKING, KEEP BEATING THE DRUM, WE CAN’T ALLOW OUR ATMOSPHERE TO GO DEAD!
THIS TEAM IS NO WHERE GOOD ENOUGH, WE (US FANS) HAVE TO KEEP THIS CLUB OUT OF THE RELEGATION ZONE, THE PLAYERS DON’T HAVE THE SKILLSET, HEART OR KNOWHOW TO DO THAT!WE WILL INEVITABLY GO A GOAL DOWN BUT WE HAVE TO KEEP GOING, THE ATMOSPHERE AND NOISE WE CREATE WILL BE EVERYTHING!
EVERY POINT MATTERS NOW!
AGAIN, DRUMMER, DO NOT STOP BEATING THAT DRUM!23 -
We were lucky today as last week we would have lost.
I don’t think we will be relegated but it could be close 🤔👎👎0 -
Why have none of his other clubs ever taken a punt on him? We are not in a position to do so at the moment. Maybe if we were mid table we could give him the rest of the season to stake his claim but we are not.MuttleyCAFC said:
