What about that for a pothole? Is the Valley car park as bad as that?
If you take out that red and green mural, that could be Westmoor Street.

Palmeiras v Cruzeiro in Serie A last night finished 1-0, Palmeiras scored in the last two minutes.
This was harder to get a ticket than Corinthians on Sunday.
I got to the ground for about 10 in case of problems, and there were.  I had to be registered on their system and then purchase on line, being registered they had to take a picture of me as they do not issue any form of tickets.  You look at a screen at a turnstile and in you go.  Clever but totally erases pay on the day.
Not surprising they were about 7k short of capacity with 38k there last night, Cruzeiro brought around 1000 which is a good turnout.
  • The Potuguesa floodlights are quite easily the most bizarre I've ever seen 🤔

They are a bit mad, although before redevelopment of grounds I recall some in the old USSR having character.

Botafogo PB v Amazonas in a Serie C game today.
This division split after 19 games and the top 8 sides are then now to play another six games before a further split!
Today finished 2-1 to Botafogo PB, there must have been near to 10k today, a fantastic gate at this level.
    A cracking old ground.

How did you manage to get a gold dust ticket like an auld firm game?

I went to Rangers Celtic match early 2000's when Celtic had (I think) the whole away end.

Amazing atmosphere, fuelled by vitriolic hatred. Shocking football (0-0).

Corporate hospitality - arrived very early, left relatively late, so missed any shenanigans in the surrounding areas...

"Hello I have VIP today for the game"
    "Your name Sir"
    "Steve O'Shaunessy"
"Yes Sir, the toilets are at the end of the hallway".

The Lydd Ultras don't look much, not even wearing black.

  • A Serie B game last night in the North East city of Maceió saw CRB thrash the league leaders 6-0.
A great little ground, and a decent game changed with two goals in three minutes.
Brazilians like to eat and drink at the football, the police are very heavy handed and create problems.

First MLS match when I visited Toronto in September.
Toronto 1 Vancouver 2. Ticket approx. £30. BMO Field is apparently one of the stadiums on the shortlist for a 2026 World Cup venue. Guessing they will be looking to develop behind both goals more.
  • 488 hardy souls watched Rushden and diamonds beat Coleshill 2-1 at the weekend, breaking a run of nine straight defeats.

14.10.23 Sporting Gijon v Real Zaragoza 2-2 El Molinon

quality ground and great atmosphere. I’d recommend anyone to watch the short highlights on YouTube and see what the keeper did in the 97th minute. Unreal

     quality weekend grounds 113/114

There are bundles of grounds in Spain that are decent.
Betis, Valencia, Tenerife.  A lovely country to visit as well.
Going this time of the year is great so you can top up the tan.
