He seemed really uncomfortable singing “right hard to remember” like it was a different language. It’s an amazing set list with some annoying crooning!0

Hot chip were good. And courteeners. Saw both at benicassim in 2008 so on a right old nostalgia trip.0

I saw Diana Ross last year and soooo many people said it was shit. She was shit. The sound was shit. Well I was there and it was bloody amazing. The atmosphere of the people watching and the sound in the field cannot be recreated.I dare say it was the same for arctic monkeys today and the majority of people there loved it. Those who don’t love them would have gone elsewhere to one of the 100 stages or bars or comedy or cinema or passed out in their tent from earlier over indulging. It’s so hard to bring the vibe to peoples living rooms.0

The latest stuff isn’t for me either but still excited to see them on tour in a few months.0 -
Never really got into the foo fighters, they just seem to create songs where they keep repeating words in them. It’s that the best they can do, then it’s a no from me.1

I'm not there so I can only comment on what I'm seeing on BBC.
Warpaint. Mildly entertaining but I'm not sure I'd want to see a whole set.
Foo Fighters. Much better on record.
Cate Blanchett with Sparks. Bonkers but in a good way.
Arctic Monkeys. I'm in a minority here, I know, but I find them really, really boring. Edit: having read others' comments on the previous page, I guess I'm not in that much of a minority.0 -
The Saw Doctors played the acoustic stage last night, unfortunately there was no BBC coverage.0

Texas were brilliant, I also enjoyed Royal Blood and the Foo's.
AM I thought were boring tbh.
Today, being the oldie that I am, looking forward to seeing Rick Astley at midday, Lewis Cappaldi, Lizzo and of course GNR.
Tomorrow is, for me, the one I'm really looking forward to!0 -

AM might have just played the most boring headline set I've seen at Glastonbury and I saw coldplay in 20111

I have ignored modern music and am still with Mick getting his Yayas out, but last night in a fit of boredom we watched a bit of Galsto. Loved Yaya Bey, Warpaint and Foo Fighters but gave up on Arctic Monkeys after their 2nd number and realise that I have missed a lot of good stuff. I understand where Suzi is coming from but TV is better than nothing but maybe us armchair people should be slower to criticise, wish I was young and fit enough to be there as it is only just down the road.0

I don't understand the point of even playing your old stuff if you're going to butcher it.
If your style has changed that dramatically over the years that you don't relate to it, then don't play it.1 -
Arctic monkeys are desperate to be American. It's a shame really because it gets in the way of a few good songs that they have.
Drop the mock accent and they'd be 5 times better.0 - Sponsored links:

They played more "hits", Alex's voice was good and they had loads more energy.
9/10 last week, 6/10 tonight.0 -
