Rain is forecast over the last couple of days of this test.
Good declaration.
We ain't going to die wondering5 -
I'm in the Hollies.
And it's f****"g mental!!11 -
Get a wicket tonight, the decision is justified
Australia finish at 23-0 with no scares, it looks a reckless declaration.0 -

Doesn't Anderson normally take the first over? I know why they have done it..1
-
No way would I have declared, I still think we needed 450.
Let's hope they're 1 or 2 down at the close.0 -
Ain't going to disagree with Adrian Rollins
1 -
Yeah put the pressure on with the bat not the ball. Another 50-60 runs would been lovely.1
-
The whole of England held their breath as Robinson went down there0

I really dont get that decision. Like others have said, they end up 25-0 at end of play, and we may as well have just had an extra 30-40 runs.1

Australia playing Andball0
-
If we don’t get a wicket that is a bollox declaration. When the Aussies need 30-40 runs to win with 6 down we are gonna regret that.2

The last time Jimmy Anderson bowled in a home Test match and didn't take the new ball was against the West Indies in 2009.

Looks comfortable for them.0

Didn’t get the wicket but it was worth a go.3

379 ahead when it feels like we could have been 420, 430 ahead.0

I think that declaration is one of the daftest I can remember.
We've gone from a possible 450 overnight lead to a 379 lead.1 -
Well that was a waste of runs.Trying too hard to be this edgy team1
-
Absolutely crazy decision. We have literally gained nothing - threw away an extra 30-40 runs for no reason at all.3

But this is Bazball or whatever they call it.
Like it or not it's how we are going to play this series.0 -

Brain dead.2 -
If Root was out I'd understand it, but not with your best batsmen completely in and hitting sixes etc.4
-
Declaring when Root is 118* and playing immaculately and we are scoring quickly created great theatre, but we could have sacrificed 30-50 runs as Robinson looked comfortable out there.1
-
Day goes to Australia imo, but not by a huge margin. Fortune favours the brave so I don't mind Stokes trying something different, although it's not what I would've done.0
-
I would have waited until Root was out. Another 30 or 40 runs. We lost 10 minutes for the changeover and gained nothing
