Got back to The Bull in Woolwich to watch after our abysmal effort at The Valley. Pub was packed, with a few Tyrone shirts, but predominantly Mayo. Was shouting for Tyrone, as I had Strabane friends there at the match cheering them onΒ & good to see another Ulster side do well.Β

Great atmosphere in the bar after the game afterwards & definitely took my mind off the rubbish I’d seen earlier yesterday.Β
  • Couldn’t believe it!

  • Surely part of the all island dimensions protected by the Protocol....

Good luck to anyone trying to claim it as a Brexit bonus at Healy Park, or Ardboe, Pomeroy, Coalisland, Carrickmore or The Moy...
  • RIP.

Well, the players will no longer have it in the back of their heads, and might stop choking in Finals.

Which roughly translates to "I hope so", even if it does nothing to help Ireland's image as a modern, dynamic and rational kind of place...

I like the idea of the curse, lump on Mayo next year.Β
Need find what's been holding back Leitrim, other than population.

Cracking game in the All-Ireland hurling final. I was worried the Cats were running away with it, but Limerick have started the 2nd half superbly and showing why they’re going for a 4th title in a row.Β

That’s a stunning 2nd half from Limerick. 21 points, seemingly scored from any angle and distance they felt like against just 1-6 from Kilkenny who just couldn’t live with them. Thoroughly deserved champions and now 4 in a row β˜˜οΈπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Don’t forget the ball bursting the net, then the repairs with a cable tie.

And the winning captain with the usual dose of verbal diarrhoea. Felt like that went on longer than the game πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚

    Thoroughly enjoyed that.
2nd half Limerick were different gravy.

Serious history made by the Dublin old guard.

An engrossing game, but less entertaining than last week.

As an Ulsterman, a bit disappointed that my preferred outcome, a meteorite strike, didn't happen today...

Quite enjoyed that, pleased Dublin won, we have family from Dublin, wife's cousin used to play for their ladies team.
