At least 70% of that dinner would definitely be hard.BrentfordAddick said:Do your worst, it won't be hard.

This thread is all about piss taking, so happy to take it all...
No turkey - replaced with beef stew and dumplings (family tradition)...
The roast potatoes on the left disintegrated, but were lovely.
No crisps or baked beans.

It actually tasted pretty good (admittedly the photo doesn't really do it justice!). The reindeer/Santa shite is actually boiled red cabbage and dates. Some of the potatoes are "caramelised" in brown sugar which it what gives them their shiny appearance. Meat is Duck and Pork. Not as dry as it looks. My favourite part has to be the ready salted crisps (see top right). Plate is a family heirloom apparently.
Plenty of potatoes on my Danish Xmas plate too. Hasselbach and caramelised. Accompanied by red cabbage, sweet onions, crisps, gravy and a scotch fillet (sorry, couldn’t be bothered with duck this year).
The "meat" looks like a prop out of a army medic training video.
So demotivated was the chef they lost the will to cut all the way through the onion or whatever it is as the centre piece of that abomination. The nuttella sundae tops it off.
Hopefully you can salvage a crisp to stave off starvation.6 -

Disaster for me. Somehow turned off the oven and then to catch up the timings went all out the window!

Enjoyed. Left it to the family this time. A lot more gravy was applied after the snap.

Don’t like parsnips but even if i did I need the potato ratio to be a lot higher compared to themFumbluff said:
BiL served up this, to be fair once the gravy went on he’d smashed it but I disagreed with the cauliflower cheese (still ate it mind)1 -
