    Who is the premier league record golden boot winner?

    As in, most goals during the 38 game period. Cant find it via Google.

    My guess is it was Ronaldo with roughly 32 goals during 2008/09 season?

    Assuming he wont get a severe injury or a lengthy ban, Haalands obviously going to take that title

    The Premier League record is held by Andy Cole (93/94) and Alan Shearer (94/95), who both got 34 goals, but they were in 42 game seasons.

    Mo Salah in 17/18 got 32, which is the highest in a 38 game season.

    I think Mo Salah got 44 club goals in 17/18 which is the record in the Premier league era.  I think, but happy to be wrong he also scored 5 International goals so 49 in total.

    Haaland is half way to both, in October.

    I did read yesterday that he will beat Salah's record by the end of February at the current rate.

    If you include the 2018 World Cup as part of the 17-18 season, then Harry Kane got 52. 41 for Spurs, 11 for England.

    The way he took that goal was awesome.
    Like lightning over the first five yards and was like a sprinting Incredible Hulk, who can knock him off the ball when he’s up to speed, huge powerful legs and upper body strength ……can’t think of anyone off hand.

    Out of the 92 league clubs, i'd guess that probably at least 70-75 of them won't have a striker this season that gets 22 goals.

    He's got that in October. It's just ridiculous.

    He needs another 18 premier league goals to beat that record. 
    That still certainly won't be easy.

    I think he'll get passed it march/April time at the very latest

    They have Leicester, Fulham, Brentford, Leeds and Everton before new year. He could easily get another 7-8 there.

    As many people have said, only injury is going to stop him smashing the record.

    Better he isn’t in the squad and your vice captain gets double points than Haaland comes on for a 5 minute run out and you get 2 points.
