We got about as much business done early as anyone else, we are hours away from the deadline trying to sign players like anyone else, this is the nature of life in the EFL. I hope this helps, I suspect it won’t.golfaddick said:

Not to be dramatic but the next 4 hours essentially make or break our season. We have a quality manager and a decent core of players, it would be a huge missed opportunity to let it go to waste. A striker who fits the way we play and a back up centre half, and we easily compete at the top end of the table imo. We miss out on either / both of those, and it’s another season of ‘what ifs’.

The crowd are up on their feet. "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees, hail
mighty Caesar"
Brutus jumps up and shouts "Caesar, you are a liar. You told us that
you had killed 50,000 Gauls in France but I've been there to check it out
you only killed 25,000 !!!!"
The crowd are stunned and all sit down in silence.
Caesar gets up and looks slowly round the Coliseum then across at
Brutus and says "Brutus, you are forgetting one thing...

Wouldn't bother mate.....will only be a let down. If we have to get to 7.30pm on deadline day & still be waiting for signings something hasn't gone to plan.Scoham said:
Yes we've signed players & yes, some were even here before the start of the season, but currently only Woolacott, O'Connell, Rak-Sakyi & Sessegnon can be said to improvements to last season. I have high hopes for Payne but he has yet to shine. Egbo & Mcgrandalls are already injured and we obviously only started looking for a striker after Saturday.
At the start of the season I think I gave this squad 6 out 10 with hopes it would go to 7 or more once we got to today.
Sadly 6 is about the maximum it will be.
