The trouble that Garner has is that he's made Stockley captain, the main man, not sure he's not regretting putting all his eggs in that basket.6

Doesn’t mean he has to pick him. Stockley has a job to do - score goals. If he doesn’t do that then he won’t play - captain or not. Stockton’s movement off the ball impresses me more than his goalscoring record from last season.
He was an absolute menace at the Valley in the spring.10 -

Jury is out for me on Stockton, only really done any good for 1 season, but his off the ball movement is good.
I'm wondering whether, the plan is to get a young PL striker (not a winger cum striker ala JRS) or indeed Tyreece Simpson is the final piece of the striker conundrum?1 -

It’s the best player in a shit World Cup team signing, he’s got double figures twice in his career, including seasons in League 2 and the National League.
