Let me just correct one word for you…. Palarse 😉North Lower Neil said:Palace signing Sam Johnstone on a free.
Annoyingly seems a good signing, that.0 -

Agreed but still higher than us though!mart77 said:

Well that’s easy enough tbf sadly. I genuinely thought he’d be a top 6 Prem player for many years.Todds_right_hook said:

Lukaku back to Inter on a season long loan.
Awful signing for Chelsea, £97m and they're letting him go out on loan a year later because they don't want him but can't shift him.1 -

To be fair inter are paying a massive loan fee. It's some thing like 40 million euros.North Lower Neil said:Lukaku back to Inter on a season long loan.

Although it's probably just writing off what Chelsea owe them on the original deal.0 -

Or around one Nick Pope.0 -

I didn't understand that signing at all. He was turd at Utd, went to Inter and had a decent season, suddenly worth close to 100 million? MadnessNorth Lower Neil said:Lukaku back to Inter on a season long loan.

Wycombe have lost Anthony Stewart to Aberdeen.3

Another Pogba situation, where a Big 6 PL club brings back at massive expense a player they had when younger, and he flops.Chunes said:

Rare example of United actually doing something half decent, getting rid and getting their money back.1

He's 4th choice right now behind VVD, Konate and Matip, and maybe 2nd choice RB behind TAA, but if he wants to play at the World Cup this year he needs to join someone else in the summer and play every game for them, and stay fit doing soWK6824Nine said:4 -

Probably 3rd choice at RB given they just signed the guy from Aberdeen too.sam3110 said:

Is that allowed. A foreign FA sponsoring a player in the EFL.Cafc43v3r said:
Bale is likely to go to Cardiff for 3 months and potentially retire after the world cup.SouthLondonisRed said:Bit random I know but having a look through the transfer specials on SkyBet, just to have a little nose to see how the odds are working out on several players… but have Cardiff been taken over? They are both odds on to sign Bale and Ramsey.! 🤔
If true and I know both players are getting on but that will be two excellent signings for them with the experience etc.!
I did hear that the Welsh FA were going to cover some of his wages as well.
Really shouldn't be so not sure how true that is.0 -

Yes we do, we have 25% but it looks as if it will be another cut price move.. But money coming in from Gomez and Pope, should be god enough to fund a promotion charge, and be competitive in the championship!Jac_52 said:

Good stuff. Wasn't certain as our contingent assets in the accounts went from £5m-ish to 1.25m-ish from 2019 to 2021 so wasn't sure if that indicated we/our glorious owners of the times had sold it on for cash.0 -
Sadio Mane has joined Bayern for £32m
Either a stroke of genius from Liverpool, given they've already got his replacement - Or he's going to be a massive loss - Knowing Klopp with his eye for attacking talent of late, I'd be surprised if that was the case.0 -

Jed Wallace set to sign for West Brom.
Oliver Burke to sign permanently for Millwall. One of the quickest players I've ever seen. Just need to teach him how to play football and job's a good un.5 -

Wallace will be a massive loss for you. Burke is someone who looked a real prospect 5 years ago, but has done nothing ever since.Big_Bad_World said:Jed Wallace set to sign for West Brom.

As much as I'd prefer to see him stay, he's earned a decent pay day and goes with pretty much everyone's blessings.
With Burke you can see there's a player in there. If he gets a decent run, which he will with us, then hopefully we can polish that diamond a bit. He scares the shit out of defenders. Trouble is that his legs are about 20 yards ahead of his brain.2 -

Only had a year left on his contract and wanted to go, so I think they've done about the best they can by getting a replacement in first then getting the best fee they could.ForeverAddickted said:Sadio Mane has joined Bayern for £32m

Massimo Luongo, Mendez Laing and Joe Wildsmith all turned down new contract offers at Sheff Wendy and let go by the club.

We were after Luongo before weren’t we? Don’t know much about Wildsmith.Starinnaddick said:Massimo Luongo, Mendez Laing and Joe Wildsmith all turned down new contract offers at Sheff Wendy and let go by the club.

I imagine Wednesday offered them significantly reduced terms. Whether they'll get anything better elsewhere is debatable...Starinnaddick said:Massimo Luongo, Mendez Laing and Joe Wildsmith all turned down new contract offers at Sheff Wendy and let go by the club.0 -

Interesting. Why would Smith leave the Championship to return to L1? Apart from money of course!0
