Will be interesting to see how Bowen does.
Very experienced as a coach but not as a manager.
Wish him luck after we've played them, was a good servant to the club as a player.2 -
An interesting choice. AFC Wimbledon are going down and I think we beat them next week. They are proof that majority fan-owned clubs cannot compete at the highest end because they can't lose money the way rich clubs can and will always be outbid for good players. In the end they will have to accept an outside owner. Guessing within 2-3 years max. I know people love to romance their fan base but to vary a quote by Harry Callahan in Magnum Force... "A fan base has got to know their limitations."1

Crewe Alexandra have parted company with manager David Artell following their relegation from League One.
Artell's former assistant Alex Morris has been named as interim first-team manager, with under-23s boss Lee Bell working alongside him.

Also when you listen to him in interviews, radio shows etc, these days he actually comes across as quite a nice bloke. Just a guy who is clearly passionate about the team he's managing and sometimes gets carried away.addick1956 said:

They need a serious overhaul which is going to take time, probably at least a couple of years. I'd say they need to ship out at least 10 players who either don't want to be there (Pogba, Martial) or are dead wood (Matic, Jones, Bailly etc) and probably sign 3-4 top class players who can go straight into the team and fit the way he wants to play. Especially i think they need to sign better full backs and midfielders. Maybe he can get van de Beek playing well in his system.
Be interesting to see how he gets on as doing well at Ajax with by far the biggest budget in what is essentially a 2 team league is a lot different to competing with world class managers like Klopp, Guardiola, Tuchel and Conte who've been there and done it. He does however appear to have been a success at all the clubs he's managed.2 -

The PL is a different beast to other leagues, Guardiola took a season to settle in at City. Liverpool crumbled last season when van Dijk was injured. I'm not sure they'd be competing for the title if Klopp left. Huge clubs like Arsenal and Man u have struggled for years. It's not going to be easy for Ten Hag at all, but i bet whoever takes control of Ajax next year will still have them competing for the title.2 -
