Referees are far too soft with the likes of Burnley that kill games off by booting better players off the ball.
  • See VAR are under scouse control today.
    What happened?
Second goal Firminho is about a yard offside, goes for the ball and misses it, ball runs to Chamberlain who scores.

Oh ok. Cheers. At least it was against the Spotty Virgins. 😎
  • My word, Gallagher has really improved his all round game. His diving is world class. Zaha would be delighted to see such blatant cheating rewarded.

That is absolutely ridiculous. Jota looks and deliberately runs into the keeper!

LiVARpool at it again are they?

Offside goal and then a gifted penalty.

    That is a total disgrace
  • Disgusting decision if this is given. As much as I hate Palace, these bin dipper pricks get so much handed to them.
  • I loathe Palace with every bone in my body but that decision is farcical.

But yes it's VARs fault and not the fact that referees are incapable of doing their jobs.

    I don’t understand football if that’s a penalty.

I loathe them with every bone in my body, plus my skin hates them as well  :D
But that is never a penalty and the big team bias remains as strong as ever.

Allow me to explain. The "big 6" have to get every decision in their favour. It's really that simple.

Watch the Arsenal game. Ref let Burnley get away with murder all game.

Liverpool are a law unto themselves because the Premier League are desperate for there to be competition at the top.
  • Excuse me if I don't give a shit if Palace have a penalty decision go against them.
They have benefited hugely from the diving and cheating antics of Zaha, which got them promotion in the first place.
    Tough tits.

I say it every time but my god Brighton are good to watch.
Pretty even game first half, second half Leicester score within a minute and from then on Brighton dominated. The last 15/20 minutes was just a tidal wave of Brighton attacks, Leicester kicking the ball as far away as they could and just waiting for it to come back. Welbeck was brilliant when he came on, Schmeichel made a couple of good saves to keep them in it.

They've only lost four games all season but it is the 12 draws that have cost them, But they do go for the full 90 plus as evidenced by the fact that they have scored the equaliser in the last few minutes in half a dozen of those matches

Agreed, I find it baffling when people are unhappy about Palace conceding a dodgy penalty.

    Bribg it on

Because in the same sense we moan about Zaha’s antics, we’re football fans that don’t like cheating. The fact he’s a palace twat just increases the vitriol.
Against palace or not we want consistency in decisions, not some teams getting the benefit over others.

Listen, I agree with you. I hope they get cheated in every game and go down as a result of it.

    But ...

You've just got to see that decision. It is farcical.

Otherwise the toys get thrown out the pram and they start talking about a European Super League.

I'm not unhappy, it was just a ridiculous decision.
  • Referee right to blow for a foul prior to Kane putting the ball in the net?

Poor decision and although I understand VAR only overturns “clear and obvious errors”, surely the ref should have been asked to go and review it himself? Baffling

Dont know why the ref didnt wait and let VAR give a second opinion on it

The last four goals scored by Spurs against Chelsea have all been ruled out now

I presumed it didnt go to VAR? - Thought the ref had blown before it hit the net so VAR couldnt review it
  • Referees need to start asking themselves though

How can the majority of Footballers suddenly show the sort of strength to win a 50/50 shoulder barge.

Yet suddenly end up as light as a feather at the slightest push
