Relegation candidate Watford score 4 goals in the last 12 minutes to beat fourth place Everton 5-2 at Goodison. Yikes. First win for Watford at Everton in the club’s history.2

Josh King having scored none in eleven games for Everton last season, gets a hat-trick past them today.2

ForeverAddickted said:To be fair I know that Norwich are the lowest of the three promoted teams
But if they're winning the Championship which the likes of Fulham | West Brom are also yo-yo'ing between
What does it say about those who cant get promoted instead of them
Surely if Norwich dont stand much of a chance, then those still in the Championship stand even less of one
Norwich's last 3 PL seasons have seen them finish 18th, 19th and 20th.1 -
I think Norwich are comfortable with the constant going up and down ( the owners not the fans ) any club that wins promotion is faced with a massive spend to try and secure premiership status in that first season and rightly or wrongly they dont want to do that imo0

Bizarrely though, they've gone from scoring six goals and conceding just one in their first five matches to scoring 15 and letting in 17 from their next eight games.
They still have a soft under belly (no team in the top half have conceded more) and I would be extremely surprised if they finish in the top four. Being above United is more a reflection of that team's issues and the fact that Brighton are ahead of both of them, with just eight goals to their name, rather says it all.
Creativity was always the issue but playing 4-2-3-1 plays so much to our strengths. Romero for only his 3rd PL start looks like a PL veteran. Pace in both full back positions. Ndombele, our most creative force, played as a genuine no.10 with an insurance policy of Skipp and PEH behind, allowing the front three to do their thing and you can see progress.
Ndombele is an enigma. He is so talented but he is the laziest arse footballer I've ever seen at Spurs. Against Arsenal, he may as well not bothered to come out for that first 35 mins. Yet yesterday and against Villa, he ran the show.
Interestingly, Gio Lo Celso was supposed to have put in two back-to-back MOTM performances for Argentina last week yet didnt come on yesterday. I have to say, I really do think Dele and Winks are done at Spurs now. I see no way back for them into the first XI. Dele worked harder in the first few games than we've seen in a good few seasons but that first 45 mins against Arsenal showed how limited he is as a central midfielder. He played his best football for Spurs in behind Kane but he's never going to get in front of Ndombele or Lo Celso.
We'll really know where we are as a team next Sunday when we go to the East London shit pit. They are playing well and Moyes has got them properly organised. Getting a result against Villa and Newcastle is one thing, against them is totally another.

4th consecutive London derby of not showing any desire to win whatsoever. If Nuno had any balls, he'd be dropping Kane right now...if he had another recognised centre-forward on the bench to pick!

United are so bad. They can't carry on like this!0

United have been bad but this Liverpool side are brilliant.
Forget your invincibles or your treble winners, personally i think the Liverpool and City sides we've seen over the past 3-4 seasons are the 2 best PL teams of all time.3 -
Rashford is cack.
A shadow of the player he was 3 years ago.0 -
OGS is a dead man wallking.

United can’t defend, Leicester ripped them apart, and Liverpool are and have barely got out of first gear0

Considering United have 2 England defenders (and England defend pretty well) you'd think they'd be a lot more solid than they are. However for me their defensive problem is down to their midfield. McTominay and Fred are shit and simply don't protect the defence enough.
Instead of spending a year trying to sign Sancho, who they don't even need because they have Greenwood, they should've put the 75m towards getting someone like Declan Rice or Ndidi.0 -

Is that down to Southgate or OGS?
Surely got to be more to do with the latter!!0
