Matterface was so bad in commentary that I almost would have preferred Tyldesley. Almost.
And at the end he was begging viewers to watch ITV for the final.

The Kane one would of been a pen if he hadn’t fouled the other bloke 2 seconds before.

Thank the lord above that the final is on BBC!

All you lot moaning about ITV, try watching it on RTÉ 😳

Feck me that was hard work!

I collapsed in a heap on the floor in tears at the end (Mr O had to go out & put the goats & chickens to bed alone).

Once I composed myself, what did I do? Rang @KillersBeard of course. Screamed some random stuff about not believing we were actually in a final. Man I loves them Smudgers.

I have no idea how I will be on Sunday but I can tell you 100% I won’t be anywhere near the rumours thread, lesson learned there 😁

    LLLBH ❤️

    Spot the balls competition.
How far we’ve come from 5 years ago
Yes, back in 2016 we could only afford one ball.

Posting without reading, mainly because I'm incapable of reading much. Wasn't pretty but we needed to go 1 down to pass the test. Slightly fortunate, don't really care, in the final, absolutely fuming I have an incredibly important work meeting at 9am on Monday.
That'll be one hell of a penalty shoot-out if it's still going 9am Monday.

    That’s the Dutch isn’t it??
The Dutch would just light a fat one and relax.

The whining from people on social media about the penalty and result is amazing. Cheats, divers, lucky etc... In major tournaments England have suffered from some appalling referring decisions including the worst example of cheating ever seen at a major tournament in 86. About time it went our way. They also fail to mention the very soft free kick for their goal and the multiple bookings the Danes somehow didn't receive.

I'd love to win it on Sunday so the rest of the world can implode in their outrage at the English. Plenty of salty tears to go with the massive anti-English chips on their shoulders.

We more than deserved the victory, I don't think Denmark can feel robbed.

I read that they had 6 shots all game, and 5 of them were from long range.

How bad is the ITV coverage? The post-match analysis was such a downer. They've chosen Ashley Cole to go pitchside, one of the least popular players I can think of, and someone who doesn't look comfortable on camera at all. And in the studio there was some weird, palpable tension between the pundits.
Ashley Cole honestly didn't seem to give two hoots about it, the danish woman seemed more into it than him!

Wright and Keane didn't seem to be getting on at all, think Keane takes exception to Wrighty being so far up Raheem's arse haha
I don't mind a bit of tension in the pundits panel, rather than having 3 cheerleaders. Keane can always be relied on to take a slightly different angle
I can't stand Keane, with his "edgy" combative arrogance.
Takes himself way too seriously and is about as warm and appealing as a dead eskimo's cock.
Wrighty is a treasure, albeit he can be a bit frivolous and silly and the Raheem love-in is a bit OTT.
Don't always agree with his views but at least he is warm and honest

Talking about shots from long range, forgive me for being picky Gareth but can we get the players doing a bit extra shooting practice.
Our shooting from outside the box has been totally devoid of composure and technique, so poor it is infuriating.

The below tactic is currently illegal under the existing FIFA laws of the game and should’ve resulted in Denmark’s goal being disallowed.
    Is this true?

    Indeed, as this shows:

    http://www.soccer-blogger.com/2021/07/08/xg-england-vs-denmark-euro-2020-semifinal-july-7-expected-goals-shots-map-england-2-1-danmark-stats-match-attendance-64950-wembley/

Shows Schmeichel had a really good game too.  I'm surprised the Maguire header was only 0.05xg too, was a great save, guess a lot of the time maybe people would have got the header off target or straight at the keeper.

Yes - Its certainly a law thats in place now

What might be harder to tell is the fact the camera might make the Danish wall look closer to the England one than it is... But makes a mockery of the whole whether it should have been a penalty or not as we should never have gone to Extra-Time in the first place had that not been given

*Of course, there was nothing to say they'd have scored the own goal @ 0-0

England have been charged by UEFA

The laser pen during the penalty, the booing during the national anthem and fireworks going off are all reasons

I was at Spain / Italy on Tuesday, and there was a severe amount of booing from the Italian fans towards the Spanish anthem. Are they getting charged?

If we win and everyone else isnt struggling in that meeting mate, then they're Italians!!
mY Service Manager, Service Director and the other two people in that meeting are all 40-50 year old women. How's your fucking luck
40-50 year old women can like football too you know...
Only so they can knit the hats 😉

Haven’t people got anything better to do?!?!  If it wasn’t for their keeper they would have lost 5 or 6-1.

I can’t stand it when teams won’t accept that they have bean beaten fair and square. It might have been an idea for them to try and play a game of football and not be aiming for penalties with still 30 mins of the game left.
  • Never in doubt!

I felt so confident we would get the result, even when Denmark took the lead. Funny thing is, I felt more elated after the Germany game, no doubt because it was the Germans we just beat, and beat them well.

The bad news - I'm not so confident about Italy. To me, they're head and shoulders the best side in the tournament. So strong at the back (an Italian speciality) and so dangerous going forward. We'll need to be 100% at our best on Sunday, and if we are, I'll be happy no matter what the result.

Surely we aren’t the first side to have booed a national anthem in this tournament. Understand the laser pen, that was a disgrace, hopefully we’ll find the person and give a ban.

Thought Spain totally outplayed them on Tuesday. They were lucky to get through.

The Welsh and Scottish in the comments of that petition complaining about the decision... I absolutely love it.
