PragueAddick said:"My" boys, Viktoria Plzen had a very convincing win against some Danes I've never heard of called Sonderjyske. They could have got Motherwell next, but the Israelis it is, instead.
They started the season rather shakily but have made a very astute signing in Zdenek Ondrasek, "the Cobra", who made his international debut at 30 against England, and scored. Looked more like the "old" Viktoria tonight. And that kinda cheered me up, football-wise.2 -

Both Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers have been doing well the last few years in the Europa League0 -

Agree that they're a decent team though as they then played away to Swiss champions Young Boys in the next round and only lost 3-1, which is why then got moved down into the Europa.1 -
Dundalk are back in the Group Stages again
AC Milan are being beaten 2-1 by Portuguese side: Rio Ave in Extra Time0 -
Crazy game in Portugal
AC Milan awarded a penalty last kick of the game to make it 2-3 and it went to penalties
The first 14 penalties all scored then the missing started
AC Milan missed 3 of there next 4 penalties including Donnarumma smashing it over the bar like he was taking a goal kick, however every time Milan missed so did Rio Ave they just couldn't capitalise on the misses, eventually AC Millan scored penalty number 12 and Rio Ave missed there 12th so AC Milan won 9-8 on penalties0 -

Brilliant result for Rangers last night (knocked out Galatasary, 2-1)0

Frankly disastrous week for the big Czech clubs. Viktoria were favourites to beat Israelis Beer Sheva despite being away, but they conceded a dodgy penalty in the 3rd minute and never recovered. I watched it and they were crap. They seem never to find an adequate replacement for their legendary coach Pavel Vrba, who is now at Ludogorets.
Slavia had a worse result, crashing out of the UCL, despite being in the lead against Midtylland and still ahead on away goals until 84. They lost 4-1. My neighbour/Sparta fan/CAFC sympathiser was gleeful, as he says their CEO, a national level idiot and former politico, has based their budgets on the assumption of UCL knockout stage qual for the next 3 years. They are also bankrolled by Chinese State money, or they were until a brave Czech Senator led a trade delegation to Taiwan. There may be trouble ahead, at the Kung Pao Stadium...0 -
Arsenal drawn with Dundalk, Molde and Rapid Vienna.
Spurs get Ludogorets, LASK Linz and Antwerp.
Leicester get Braga, AEK Athens and Zorya.
Celtic have a tough group, AC Milan, Lille and Sparta Prague.
Rangers also tough, Benfica, Standard Liege and Lech Poznan.1 -
Brilliant goal by kemar Roofe for Rangers tonight against Standard Liege, shot from inside his own half, Rangers won 0-2.0

Amazing goal0

That's incredible, one of the best goals i've ever seen.0

It looks like signing Joe Hart was a good move for both parties, good to see him get some of his mojo back. And being picked for those Europa League matches means he's getting plenty of game time2

I watched the Rangers game and was shocked the ref didn’t stop the game to be honest. The rain was relentless and the pitch was more like a swimming pool.
Any pass along the ground the ball stopped dead after 3 or 4 yards, the sudden stopping of the ball then led to player’s lunging in to try to recover possession which in turn led to 3 or 4 nasty clashes. Challenges which under normal conditions wouldn’t be harsh red cards.0 -

Spurs beaten by Royal Antwerp.
Dele Alli started and was subbed at half time along with two other players.
What the hell has happened to that player since the World Cup?1 -

I'm sure they'll still win but fucking hell Arsenal are boring. Arteta playing a back 5 at home to Dundalk!0

That's to be sure.0

Last week Kemar Roofe set a record for a goal from the furthest distance. His record stood for 1 week!
Jordi Gomez beating it last night, although it probably shouldn't have stood as it was a free kick and the ball was moving when he hit it.0 -

Rangers went 1-0 behind early in Portugal then Benfica went down to 10 men
2 goals in a minute have now put Rangers 2-1 ahead and in control of their group

Aribo should've made it 3-10
