  • Phillips: 8.5 one of the best saves he's ever made and so secure under crosses
    Lockyer: 8.5 wonderful stuff
Pearce: 8 even played a couple of lovely balls, got beaten to the cross once but so good in the air. We have to play 3 at the back while we can
Sarr: 9.5 League One player, I heard
Matthews: 7.5 a few errant pieces of control but he defended pretty well
Cullen: 6.5 weirdly not at all his best game, but did well enough
Oztumer: 7 thought he was really lively and so many little things almost came off
Davis: 8 very fine Pratley-esque showing and a bit of class now and then. Thought he'd have to come off after his booking but he played it so well thereafter. Permanent deal to replace Pratley when he gets too old (sorry Darren)?
Doughty: 6.5 if he'd used his pace better a couple of times.....frightened them
Taylor: 9 an absolutely enormous display of running, desire and lethal instinct
Hemed: 7 again, like Oztumer, a couple of things came so close to coming off. Liked that display
    McGeady: 6 good shift
    Purrington: 7.5 excellent shift
Referee: 8 good stuff, that ref

Smith: n/a hilariously bad for some reason but full of running, might have been opening-night nerves
  • Phillips: 8 time wasted brilliantly and some smart saves
Lockyer: 7 solid but some suspect passes
    Pearce: 7 solid
    Sarr: 9 monster plus today
Matthews: 8 he is so good
Cullen: 6.5 not at his best
Oztumer: 6 not great tonight but I didn’t see the first 20mins
Davis: 7.5 composed and did the simple things
Doughty: 6 that final ball Alf!
Taylor: 7.5 ran his socks off and was fouled so many times, but final ball let him down a couple of times
Hemed: 7 put it a real shift
McGeady: 6 hard situation to come on in
    Purrington: 7 did well
Referee: 6 let us get away with time wasting but missed a lot of fouls on Taylor

  • Phillips: 7 - Seriously was reading on twitter the other day that people were concerned with his catching???
Lockyer: 7 - Solid performance, didnt really put a foot wrong
Pearce: 7 - First time I've really been impressed with him alongside Sarr
Sarr: 9 - I'd give him a "1" just to wind up a certain someone but dont want to make LL's life difficult, at least offer him a new deal
Matthews: 8 - Outstanding performance from him
Cullen: 7 - Played a few too many loose balls, but since he's been back thats seven points won
Oztumer: 8 - Likes playing against Nottingham Forest doesnt he!!
Davis:; 7.5 - Didnt see his debut so cant comment but he showed the calmness and experience we need at the moment
Doughty: 6 - Really good effort, will become a hell of a player once he works on his decision making
Taylor: 8.5 - Lovely finish, outstanding workrate
Hemed: 8 - Deserved a goal for the shift he put in

McGeady: 6 - Started brightly, struggled thereafter as Forest took control
Purrington: 7 - Extremely tidy, has put his earlier poor form behind him
Smith: N/A - Early days but looked a bit too lightweight today

Referee: 6 - Probably one of the better ones of recent weeks, I just accept the fouls on Taylor now!!

I agree with Smith, was a Le-Point-sequel debut. But Taylor 9?! Thought he was poor by his standards tonight.
I awarded the 9 for his finish, which was brilliant, and his sheer gutbusting shift, which was even better. Thought his hold-up play was superb as well. Yeah he duffed up the 4-on-2 but that's not a big deal for me
Well footie is a game of opinions and that’s what we love about it! Whatever the weather, stonking result for us

Phillips 7.5 extra 0.5 for that one save.

    Lockyer: 7 solid

    Pearce: 7 solid

Sarr: 9 outstanding performance. Works so well with Lyle and a worldy of an assist.

Matthews: 8 dealt with his men well, and there were several at times he flicked between.

Cullen: 5 poor passing, broke up play well but gifted possession far too often. Even when he plays badly we win, he has to stay in the side.

Oztumer: 7. Very busy game. Mopped up for Cullen often.

Davis: 7 Far better than Saturday. Reads the ball better than I thought and was instrumental in relieving pressure.

Doughty: 5 another poor performer on the night, head just wasn't in it. He and Cullen didn't connect well and argued a few times.

Taylor: 8. Very good performance, completely let down by officials. Great chemistry with Sarr.

Hemed: 7 worked hard and did very well first half, second half he really struggled. Needs a goal.

McGeady: 6.5 Didn't really do anything great, but certainly nothing bad either. He worked hard and that was enough tonight.

Purrington: 8. Screw 7s he did bloody well after coming on.

Referee: 4 - Another ref that lets foul after foul go against us.

Smith: n/a 5. bit of a rabbit in headlights but grew into the game.

  • Phillips 8 top class shithousery. Extras are given for the save from Naby and the exceptional timewasting.
Lockyer: 7. Hmmm form slightly dipping Tom.
Pearce: 7. Didn't get it wrong today. Very critical of him Saturday but stable today and that's enough.
Sarr: 9 if tonights performance was every week there would be calls for his statue next to Bartrum
Matthews: 8 great. Was poor Saturday, but easily one of our best today.
Cullen: 6.5 extra 0.5 for some of his long passed were on a sixpence. But really not his best again tonight, sloppy holding the ball and a bit out of kilter defensively.
Oztumer: 6.5 lovely to watch, but I am waiting for the day he gives the final pass to one of our players.
Davis: 7 did pratley's job tonight and arguably did more when in possession, very solid performance.
Doughty: 6.5 was left wanting against an exceptional winger in Lolley. Went forward with pace and scared Forest. Just again needs a killer ball.
Taylor: 8 what a finish, and fought with every breath. Couldn't decide if he was going down soft or the ref not giving anything. He really needs a strike partner at all times though.
Hemed: 7 1st half was always in the game. Ran himself in the ground, but simply put Bonne would have done better in possession in my opinion.
    McGeady: 6.5 professional outing.
Purrington: 7 I am so glad to give Mr 7/10 seven. I criticised the sub but nothing came down their right from then on. He also gained us a lot of territory with fresh leg. I should never doubt Bowyer
Referee: 8 maybe not more because for me Taylor deserved more protection.

Smith: n/a wow .... That was a shocker eh lad.
