Don’t know much about him but see a few people say he’s the best player in the league and see he was in peoples team of the season so far.
maybe thats our scouting list 🤷🏼♂️.1 -
MuttleyCAFC said:killerandflash said:MuttleyCAFC said:Ok, but you have to appraise the situation also. And for me the situation demands some bodies in by Saturday. Not saying that won't happen, but Pratley has been used too much and needs a rest (praise to him btw), Williams is being eased back so do we play the midfield that got outplayed by Millwall's U23s yesterday?
Bowyer will never write any game off he hates losing, the odds are not in our favour but this is Charlton and if there is one thing I have learnt over the last 60 years of support is always be prepared to expect the the unexpected whether it be good or bad. Keep believing, a game is never lost until it's won unless it's a draw 😉.8 -
Can't we sign all of them in time for the Preston match on Saturday?

Gotta keep the faith. It’s not out lots fault that Conor has gone back. I am genuinely devastated about this one though and will take time to come to terms with it to be honest!1

Have hardly watched any this sesaon so cant really say i know much about Fraser1 -
I am as patient and sanguine as the next person, but I would guess we need around 5-6 wins and some draws from our remaining games to avoid relegation. It's taking time for the injured players to come back and even then 2-3 games on the bench before many are able to start in a game. We need fit players in the building sooner rather than later otherwise we may well be looking for 5-6 wins out of the last 12 games instead of the last 19 games. Need to sprinkle some fairy dust over these pending deals Mr. Southall.4

Getting Bowyer signed up in next 24 hours is crucial imo.2

Could Gallagher recall be based on opposing teams kicking seven shade of shite out of him over the past two months?
I assume the Chelski scouts have been watching what we’ve been watching! E.G. KB’s tackle at Derby!4 -
Rumour has it roland and roman are mates and did us a favour. Now roland has gone he can go elsewhere. Heard it here first. Its ok, nabby will move into centre mid. Lets go!1

Maddison's been the best player in League One for years, would love to see him at the Valley. You need a bit of pace up top to give him space on the ball. Personally he offers more than Gallagher, albeit as a ten or winger. Would have preffered to keep Gallagher, with Maddison taking the pressure off Williams both in game and rest games. Together Maddison and Williams can be devestating, and could give Oztumer a bit of space.4
-
If we don’t get Maddison then Matty is going to have to pull something big out the bag, because I think a lot of us are going to be feeling pretty shit if we don’t.6
-
Maddison linked with Leeds,we don't want 2 get too the end of January saying we had bids accepted but players never signed for us.1

If we pulled off the two league ones mids and toney we id be more than delighted and hopefully it wsill work out better than keeping conor. They can settle in for next seasons promotion campaign. As long as we replace him sufficiently, could be better to lose conor now than in summer2
-
The team will miss his work rate tho fml 🙈0

Either way wouldn't say no for signing him up, won't cost a lot as his contract is up in the summer, Burton won't resist a reasonable fee, he's young and imo Burton play good ball, one of the best footballing sides we played last season, especially at their place. He played in both games and although I don't remember him specifically I do remember thinking they had a lot of decent players on show and was confused why they were so far down the table.
So far this season he has 5 goals 11 assists playing for a side without a clinical striker and according to most league 1 fans he is championship quality. It's a yes from me, but doubtful2 -

I wish people would stop banging on about Toney, bit embarrassing as there’s no chance he’s coming any time soon.9

One of the players on his books, Bobson Bawling, was at Charlton on trial.
According to Transfermarkt, Bawling has been at Enfield town, where we got Josh Davison.
Davison used to play for Peterborough, but was let go.
Who else is at Peterborough now?
That's right.
Ivan Toney and Marcus Maddison.
It's basically a done deal.
Are you dusty bin?4 -
This is Charlton gents...
I evisage a transfer window sprinkled with "meh", "who's he?" and "oh fuck off, what?"
For time immormorial it has been thus and I shall expect it until proven wrong.
Has Josh Parker started the car yet?1 -
Seventeen days to go which isn’t very long to address the very real squad problems. Bids in but that’s no guarantee to signings. Gallagher gone and Taylor’s future far from certain. Injuries still significantly affecting team selection within no certainty those returning will not relapse. Form for obvious reasons is very poor. Seems to me that we need as a bare minimum two midfielders, At least one striker depending on Lyle and a commanding centre back. That’s four, possibly five. Have every faith in Gallen and Bowyer but I can’t be the only one that’s now getting very twitchy ?7
-
Kayal hasn't been confirmed as leaving has he? How long is he out for? Or is he going and we now have two loan spots to fill?0

Might want to direct that at the Chairman.
