    You mean the QB who would have won the MVP in 2017 except for tearing his ACL? The one who was recovering from said ACL as well as playing with a broken back and still threw for 3000 yards in just 11 games last year?

    The problem with the Eagles last year wasn't Wentz, it was the defence, particularly the seconadary which was getting torched all of last year, and started to figure things out right at the time they shut Wentz down.
    Can't wait to see how that useless Eagles Quarterback does with all his new toys to play with this year, like an actual running back, and more than one useful wide receiver!

    He would have, he was way out in front. The bookies also said that the Eagles weren't supposed to win the super bowl with Foles but they did. We have no idea what would have happened in the Super Bowl if Wentz was healthy, or if they would have even gotten there, but he was going to win the regular season MVP, he probably still should have done given how few games were left.

    I'm fairly confident that the Eagles are in a great position to win the division. Plenty can happen over the next few months but they have built a very strong contender.

    Charlton would have won automatic promotion with Karlan Grant staying.
    Literally no idea.

    Very strong contender.   So are the Cowboys who have won it twice in the last 3 years and Probably would have won it the year Zeke was suspended.   But I can't prove it.   But I'll claim it anyway.

    Foles is a better QB than Wentz.

    Let's see how this season goes.

    Maybe but wouldn't count on it. He was playing against 4th stringers on that carry. Too many good RB's around. Raiders should be good this year.
    Might have to rethink my opinion on wade. He just took his first touch of 2nd pre-season game 45 yards to the 2 yard line on catch and run. I think he may stick on the roster

    Honestly I’ve kept all this news at arms length. What will be will be.

    With the way the market has shaped lately I would prioritise the three players in this order:

    1. Dak (a contract in the $30-35m range will look like a bargain in a few years)
    2. Amari (deep threat that we have been missing who should definitely be offered a deal)
    3. Zeke (don’t push the boat out. The league is moving away from a single superstar back to sharing the load between two or three backs to lots of success - Gurley contract ruined the RB market)

    My friend is a huge Colts fan and is "gutted." Said the local press had no idea until an hour before he announced. Apparently word got out DURING the preseason game at Indy. When word spread in the stands, fans started booing him and he had to be escorted off the field. Not a great way to go out.
