They'll bat until the lead is 400 which should be around 10 overs left.

They'll then pick up a wicket or two before the close tonight and run through the rest by around lunchtime tomorrow.

Yorkshire 370-5 at tea a lead of 284. 32 overs left in the day.

    Pitch flattened out?

    374-6

DBD currently has the best bowling figures, 2-35. Certainly handy if he can develop into a genuine all rounder as I don't think his batting is strong enough for a top order place.

if we can get one more out we are into their tail so just add another 200 for last 3 wickets and see what our total is.

Got that response out in time, before we told you to **** off to the Surrey or Essex boards!

A typical Kent loss seems likely, typical in that we rarely are outplayed from start to finish, but always have moments when we are looking strong for a possible win before it all goes wrong...

What’s the weather forecast for the rest of the day.
Dull as dishwater here in Blackheath, no way bright enough for a first class cricket match to take place.

I would update the Surrey thread too but not prepared to do so 'til we are in a position of strength i.e. once we've won!

So, instead, what do Stoneman, Burns, Foakes and Mulder all have in common?

They are all Test internationals. Oh and all of them out by 12.15 on the first day too.
