    My eldest son is at Beckenham and says that he would be disappointed if we didn't get 500 such are the conditions. Of course Beckenham was where Dickson achieved his monumental score of 318 two years ago - here's hoping he does the same again.

    Surprising that in Div 1 we are finding it easier to get batting points than we did last season in Div 2

    In theory it should only get better when Denly comes back with the probable order being Dickson, Crawley, Denly, Kuhn, DBD & Robinson. Can't remember the last time that we had a number 6 who had already hit two tons by now! Equally, where would Billings fit in?

    Busy for a couple hours, check the score and Surrey are batting again! You imagine they'll bat for most of tomorrow, declare with a lead of 350-400, then bowl us out on day 4 now :angry:
