A big difference between a player at a struggling championship side, to a player who's played over 100 first team games, played in a European final, is a Dutch national team regular and is the captain of Ajax.2 -

Surely anyone who lives in and around London wouldn’t want any success for Spurs !
All Spurs and West Ham where I am , with some Arsenal thrown in and the chirping from them is too much to take , come on City stuff them !4 -
The only reason I can think of for preferring spurs to go through is it allows Man City to concentrate on beating Liverpool to the title3

City vs Ajax would be a cracking semi final. I would expect City to prevail, as I think they are a major step up over Juventus but it won't be easy1

Assuming it's Barca v Liverpool and City v Ajax you could make a case for all 4 sides winning.
Barca obviously have Messi.
But Liverpool's front 3 could easily carve Barca apart.
City have a great side and on their day no one can live with them.
Ajax have just totally outplayed Madrid and Juve, and could just as easily run rings round a City side who at times are dodgy at the back.

i still maintain if liverpool win the league then city will win the champions league and vice versa0
