Both Selby and Trump lost from 6-2 up which surely can't be that common in a first to 9 or 10 match, can it?0

The final frame between Selby and Robertson was also fantastic
65 minutes, it swung 1 way then the other then back again0 -

A thrilling final in progress. O’Sullivan 8 - Robertson 8 at the end of the second session. All to play for in the final session on Sunday (24th) evening in the last 9 frames. Ronnie not at his best and looks a bit distracted...he also said recently that he doesn’t like the marathon games and prefers best of 11 so he’s probably a bit bored...0

He looked a bit shaky in the middle session. Did he get it back together or did Robertson crumble?0

A quick side note
ROS is just under £60,000 ahead of Mark Selby in 2nd
The winner of the China Open gets £225,000
Mark Selby has won it 2 years in a row and 3 out of the last 4 years and ROS isnt even in the event0 -

All weekend comms were saying its amazing that ROS enters so few events and could be world number 1, but he is clever and only enters the events with the most money availble so him winning 1 event earns him more than say a Trump on Selby winnng 2 or 3
For instance yesterday he won £150,000 the week before the gibraltar open winning got £15,0000 -

The travel and being so close to the crucible is something that has stopped him going to China I agree, but you cant say he doesnt care about the money/ranking points.
My point was that its not so amazing as people like to think that he is world number one despite not playing in everything, when u look at the earning for the events he does play in compared to the others0 -

Not having that Paulie.
He earned 150 grand yesterday and you've just said that the China Open is 225 grand.
Nearly every player is competing for that prize but him.
It's absolutely unreal that he's world number 1. The season he's had is ridiculous.1 -
He keeps his game fresh by not entering everything. Similar to Federer not playing the clay court season. He has done particularly well this season though, winning more than half of the events he's entered.
But I don't think he'll win the world championship.0 -
I am not disputting his great season at all, he has done very well, what I am saying is that people say he doesnt care about ranking points/Money, IMO he clearly does and yes he picks and chooses events which keeps him fresh and good on him for doing that but what I am saying is that with the events he enters more often than not its the big prize money and winning those which has been good is why he is world number 1 ATM.
As I said winning that one event earnt him more than winning the Indian Open, Germans Masters and Gibralter Open combined would have done.
The thing is no one will no how much he is motivated by the points/money, unless he has a poor season next year and enters a few events he didnt this year.0 -

Gutted. Was hoping Selby could do the treble and win it for a 3rd year in a row.

In the absence of @paulie8290. Quick update. Big names dropping like flies in China: Selby, Williams, Trump, Higgins and Hawkins all out. Means Ronnie O'Sullivan will retain the No.1 spot for now. Nice to see Ken Doherty go through.

Due to the time difference and alot going on I havent been to up to date with the China Open but Neil Robertson won it with a 11-4 victory over Jack Lisowski
Stuart Bingham made Snookers 151st 147 and Stuarts 5th during the event, it puts Bingham joint 5th with Murphy on the list of most 147
