    Copa Libertadores second leg was moved to the Bernabeu due to bad fan behaviour. It was a reference to that.

    On the Sirius XM Football channel here, two commentators feel for some time they have an answer to refs... have them go through promotion/relegation. Every game ref performance gets rated, just like players. At the end of the season the bottom 15% go down to the league below and the top 15% go up from the lower league. It would increase competition and bad results would have consequences. And then the top ones get to ref the international tournaments.

    Even the flags at Wembley your only allowed a certain size yet Dortmund fans are allowed there big ultra banners don’t mind but you need to treat everyone the same

    Doesn’t that kind of happen already (although much shorter term).
    Ref puts in a bad performance and he is “demoted” to a league 1 game, cos apparently we don’t matter and can suffer his shite.
    2 weeks later, back in the Premier League.

    he was offside by a hair. laws of the game and the ref could hardly rule against it but is the game not meant to be entertainment? (not in Charltons case most of the time) always felt they should tweak the law to give the advantage to the attacking team imo. a ref might feel the same but the technology wont let that kind of decision become subjective.

    Didn’t think they were there just for goal line checks. Seen one or two incorrect corner decisions tonight that would have (maybe) been picked up by those officials.

    Why didn't Dortmund come out for 2nd half.

    Pulistic showed nothing tonight, Sancho is a good prospect but Dortmund missed their 4 injured players.
    Vertonghen Was brilliant, a Sarr performance.

    I see moments after Real scored the 2nd away goal Ramos purposely got booked and misses the 2nd leg instead of potentially a quarter or semi final

    What a cracking second half by Spurs. Vertonghen and Son were outstanding. 

    With two-thirds of the season gone, Son must surely be a front runner for Player of the Year. Apart from being an excellent footballer, his effervescent personality always seems to light up a game.
