Signing Allan Simonsen still feels surreal. Hard to find a valid hypothetical equivalent shock transfer today, but it would be a bit like Iniesta signing for Reading. Simonsen was so far ahead of his teammates in speed of thought and technical ability that they sometimes made him look bad. Poor bugger.1

Anyone aware of the South London Special League (SLSL) it operates roughly once a month in the Charlton area? ? Its an awesome set up when I used to take the team I ran there were generally 20-25 teams competing in various leagues. Its brilliant stuff hats off to all those who volunteer to make a great, competitive & fun day out for all involved.0
