Hopefully be able to get tickets and there are a lot of Argentinian fans here so should be a good atmosphere. Could actually be trouble though between Madrid based River and Boca fans so security will have to be tight.0

They could stage it in Port Stanley.

It’s still a 2nd leg but the first was 2-2 and away goals don’t count. So regardless of being moved to Spain it was always going to be a one leg final2 -

They played each other in a quarter-final three years ago, when River Plate players were attacked with tear gas by Boca supporters, so similar circumstances to this time around. Boca were expelled from the competition and River awarded the tie. Given that precedent, I think River can consider themselves fortunate that the trophy hasn't already been awarded to Boca.Elthamaddick said:

Waiting for ticket details to be released and hoping I can get them at a decent price. Wonder how much they will be and how many will be available to general public after River have their allocation.0

The Boca fans didn't do anything (this time) though, so why would they be not allowed to win it? Also, who is the 'they' who should make a stance - FIFA, CONMEBOL, the police? Been looking at ways of getting tickets for this and it hasn't seemed clear so far, so wondered how official it was. Did see that tickets would possibly go on sale on Sunday so hopefully will know more tomorrow.1

But why would Boca be thrown out due to the behaviour of River fans? I totally agree that there needs to be a tough stance on hooliganism but it doesn't really make sense to throw both teams out due to the behaviour of one set of fans.1

I remember a while ago a whole country got thrown out of European competition for some years because of the behaviour of fans of some clubs.
