Just got an alert about this. Immediately puts me in mind of Matthew Harding.

Have to hope as well that no one on the ground has been caught up in the incident - Going by that video clip it looks like it could easily have been a small fire bomb rather than innocently catching fireGravesend_Addick said:Nobody can survive that surely. Awful

Looks horrendous, you don’t survive that IMO, hoping as little people as possible are on board0

Breaking is that the owner, sporting director and pilot have all died.
Rest in peace :-(0 -

I can’t see this confirmed on any major news outletSwisdom said:Breaking is that the owner, sporting director and pilot have all died.

Lots on twitter
Pics of him taking off after the match (as he did every game)
Pics of him getting into it
Talk of lcfc staff stating they are deceased
Lcfc spokesman confirming they are assisting the police but nothing more at this stage
There’s nothing official but it’s all looking bleak
Hope it’s wrong0 -
Seen a tweet from someone confirming owner was on board, chap called Ben Jacobs0
-
I guess there won't be anything official until families have been informed. Unfortunately, the worse seems likely.

Very tragic day for football today it seems. Hoping Glenn can pull through.
Seen a video of the Leicester owner boarding the helicopter shortly before it departed and can't imagine anyone surviving so I would imagine the rumours are true.

Check out @SkySportsNews’s Tweet:
SKY SOURCES: Leicester vice-chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha and director of football Jon Rudkin were not on the helicopter at the time of the crash.4
