Swansea Under 21s away on a Tuesday night sounds quite exciting to me, especially if it goes to penalties.0

What’s the rule about academy teams not being drawn at home? Or is that only for the knockout stages?thai malaysia addick said:Swansea Under 21s away on a Tuesday night sounds quite exciting to me, especially if it goes to penalties.

Be interesting to see what team we put out - most of the U23's are playing for the 1st team anyway.LouisMend said:According to BBC Sport, Charlton will host AFC Wimbledon on Sept 4th and then travel to Stevenage on Tuesday 9th Oct in the @CheckatradeTrpy. Swansea u21 at Home 13th Nov #cafc

This could well be our year in the trade!0
-
Attendance was 1,600 at Swindon last night. Not great, but not as terrible as I hoped it would be.0
-
Why is there even a thread devoted to this pointless competition that attract crowds of a couple of hundred nationwide? Think I'd even watch Love Island.... oh, no, wait a minute, that's going a little too far!0
-
We'll look back at this thread in a few years time and laugh..Remember when we got over 1000 people at our games..oh those were the days.0

Chelsea U21s are relatively attractive opposition, at least you know they'll be good. A few might become famous elsewhere too.SouthWest_Addicks said:Attendance was 1,600 at Swindon last night. Not great, but not as terrible as I hoped it would be.

Swansea City U21 won 1-0 @ AFC Wimbledon last night
Means if Charlton cant beat Stevenage whenever the hell that game is, we might REGRETFULLY exit the competition, so sad!!0 -

Over 100 Addicks had purchased tickets for Tuesday’s game before they went off sale from The Valley.
Stevenage will be selling to Charlton fans on the night priced:
Adult: £10
Student and Over 65: £5
U12: £3
Team news
The cup tie will afford Lee Bowyer the opportunity to shuffle his pack and give some vital minutes to players who have been waiting for their opportunity in the first-team picture, as well as those who are making a return from injury such as Kristyian Bielik and Jamie Ward, who the Addicks' boss confirmed would appear.
Bowyer has also confirmed that Nicky Ajose, Igor Vetokele and Mark Marshall will all feature at the Lamex Stadium.<</i>i>

I salute your unstinting loyalty and dedication, but I also think that you're mental.3 - Sponsored links:

Charlton's final Checkatrade Trophy Southern Group G clash against Swansea City U21s, originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 20th, has been provisionally moved forward by a week to Tuesday, November 13th (7.45pm).
If Charlton are not involved in an FA Cup First Round replay then the fixture will switch back to Tuesday, November 20th.

"If Charlton are not involved in an FA Cup First Round replay"
I'm sure we're quite capable of losing at the first time of asking.7 -

Saw that Port Vale drew Stoke U23s. I wonder if either club (or their fans) will take it seriously.
Was hoping Sunderland would get Newcastle U23s.0
