In the article he says "its a re-building process at Oxford" and then goes on to say "trust me, I know what I am doing"

    Lol

"trust me, I know what I am doing"

Lining up a hefty severance payment, the fat wanker.

"A 100%-motivated Ryan Ledson, who wants to be at this club, is irreplaceable. A 60%-motivated Ryan Ledson at this club is replaceable."

So basically, if you've got a player who's so good that you consider him to be irreplaceable, demoralise and demotivate him to the point where he becomes bang average and hey presto, he is now replaceable. Genius.

Reading this bloke's interviews makes me want to exfoliate my todger with shards of glass.

someone just sent me this of our ex manager squaring up to some prat at Blackburn... (the chant at the end was directed at the knobs who got on the pitch by proper Blackburn fans)

Not much I'll say that's complimentary about Gobbo but fair play to him for having a go at that twat.

All joking aside, criticise Robinson for his many faults but not here. To his credit, I genuinely believe he was sticking up for his player here as he seemed to get annoyed at the precise point his player was getting some stick

Ohh that looks great doesn't it. Having to be held back by his players. What an example that sets to them. Could you imagine SCP or Curbs doing something like that? No chance. Reckon the players will lose a bit if respect for him there.

I like that he wears his heart on his sleeve. It's the sort of reaction I would have. I just think it shows that he's not a great manager, or at least he wasn't the right fit for our club.

fair point. Tough one because I think he was sticking up for his player, but then I do also think his reaction was unprofessional.

We had a very similar debate last season at AFCW.

Think you summed it up quite well, he wears his heart on his sleeve and is very involved and emotional with each thing he says and does. Sometimes it can be a load of rubbish and is annoying, sometimes it can be unprofessional, and as much as I don’t think he was a good manager for us, many different reasons for that, he did genuinely care for a while so can’t take that away from him.

Oh if only Oxford fans looked at our opinions of him

They'd realise they're being taken for the exact same ride and that we're not actually bitter

Here's an interview from yesterday: http://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/sport/16343340.oxford-united-in-talks-to-sign-reading-striker-sam-smith-reveals-boss-karl-robinson/

“I think the fans saw me on my phone before the game and I was texting during it.

“I don’t make any apologies for maybe my mind not being 100 per cent on the game.”

F%*king prick. Everything he does is for show. And here's some more bullshit about transfer target Sam Smith:

“If we can get him in amongst a few (interested) Championship and League One teams it would be a real coup.

"We’re in discussions with them but there’s a lot of competition."

"We like him and he’s on our list, but getting a deal done is always difficult when he’s that good.”

So Reading finished 5th from bottom of the Championship last season, and this bloke wasn't good enough to get in their relegation-threatened side, and they don't want him this season either, but apparently there's clubs in the Championship and League 1 queuing up to sign him. Come on Karl, anyone can see that's a load of Dodoo.

Cant wait for his mock outrage at the 'despicable way some clubs have conducted themselves during the transfer window' despite his best efforts to 'get things over the line'.

I cant believe the way some people on here talk about him.

Proper Charlton Legend who got us to the playoffs only for Bowyer to F*** it up.
