Most games the other side seems to have an 'orrible bastard in midfield. I hate them. Diving, cheating, fouling, driving his team forward, sneaking a goal. We need one of those.
And can we get KAG back.1 -
KAG can't return until next season. There may be an exception if we make the play-offs and Crawley don't, not sure on that.1

does he play attacking passing football? If he does we don’t score many goals do we? Good job he doesn’t play a defensive game then otherwise we’d be in trouble.4

He wants us to but I wouldn't say it's how we play...LargeAddick said:does he play attacking passing football? If he does we don’t score many goals do we? Good job he doesn’t play a defensive game then otherwise we’d be in trouble.

If Roland hadn't hired so many bad managers, we may not have needed to sack so many, but I guess that's irrelevant at the moment. What is relevant, is that Robinson is not performing and we can't look back at how many managers have been sacked recently and give him a stay of execution because people think there have been too many shown the exit.
Karl isn't doing his job. The team is clearly under-performing, his tactics are too rigid, teams have worked us out and he refuses to adapt. The problems stem from the fact that he brought in a group of players to play to a specific system, but cannot make it work at all, and he seemingly has no idea how to go about forming an alternative plan.
I've defended him up until now because I've always acknowledged that he is working under difficult circumstances, but eventually you have to stop making excuses.2 -
He plays attacking football that produces few goals , but leaves us wide open at the back, so we let in far too many.LargeAddick said:does he play attacking passing football? If he does we don’t score many goals do we? Good job he doesn’t play a defensive game then otherwise we’d be in trouble.
The only person that can't see it is Robinson. He hasn't got the ability, because if he did have if would have changed things.7 -
Okay I think I’ve got it. We all know that Robinson won’t be changing the formation so... The team for Tuesday against Blackpool should be thisAmos
Solly Bauer Pearce Page
Konsa Forster-Caskey
Marshall Reeves Fosu
Zyro
Maynard-Brewer, Sarr, Dijksteel, Aribo, Kaikai, Ajose, Magennis
That’s enough protection down the right with Solly, Konsa and Marshall. More dominant in the air with Bauer at centre back. More balanced with playing a left back at left back. More balanced with players playing in positions which is the correct one for them or at least able to with the case of Konsa. More balance with not having 3 left footed centre midfielders like we did on Saturday. More mobility and protection in centre midfield with Konsa instead of asking Jackson to play a role he has never done before, let alone now at the end of his career. I like Magennis but Zyro deserves a chance up front and we know we won’t go two up top. Should have enough attacking intent with Forster-Caskey, Marshall, Reeves, and Fosu supporting Zyro.
Now the likelihood is that this isn’t going to happen, but what else have we got? It can’t be worse than Saturday!4 -

Even though 5 of the players are injured, i'm going to play them anyway.Callumcafc said:7 -
Interesting... I wonder if the players knew the team for tomorrow night before Saturday’s game. If so that could have played a part in the way we played and how we lost the game. If they know they’re not playing a few days later no matter how well or poorly they play, that really could affect their performance, even if they don’t deliberately mean for it to. In my opinion if that’s the case, that is not so good man management and would go hand in hand with what’s Robinson was saying about if you don’t believe we can achieve something this season then go home and don’t play.Callumcafc said:1 - Sponsored links:

If he doesn't start Zyro then, then .... agh..... bloody hell.......jeez.........1

So if someone had a howler against Peterborough and was already selected for Blackpool then they'll start regardless?Callumcafc said:5 -
If KR wants to come across as a buffoon he's doing a fine job.ForeverAddickted said:

I think that's a given now, I'm sure he just makes it up as he goes along sometimes. Unfortunately his brain and mouth are not always in sync.hoof_it_up_to_benty said:

Solly might not have the legs to play three matches in 8 days. Maybe Bauer will be fit by Tuesday so Konsa moves to RB. Maybe Josh and Kaikai were always going to be ‘rested’.
Come on Karl, I’m trying to help you out here!0 -
Kaikai rested James? He's done sweet FA since he's been here or is that what your Gramps used to prefer to tell players he was actually droppingJamesSeed said:Solly might not have the legs to play three matches in 8 days. That would have done.LargeAddick said:0 -
No doubt his post match BS has been chosen as well.Callumcafc said:7 -
So no matter how well or bad anyone plays they have no chance of influencing team selection for the next game? Get this clown out.5

Yet again, demonstrating his unique tactical flexibility...LargeAddick said:
Does anyone else wonder whether he has selected the team for every game until the endof timethe season already?
Just as with the formation.0 -
Rested in inverted commas i.e. dropped. My gramps used to get them up to his office to tell them straight that they were being dropped.RedChaser said:

And only a few months after his second gassing in WW1 he was playing three matches a week on muddy Welsh pitches. Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday.
I don't get why modern players can't even hack two games a week.7 -
