Joyce starts slow and comes on strong. Lewinson starts quick but can gas.
Intriguing fight.

The platform shoes are from the Cuban Olympic team. Hayes coach uses them for opponents. He has shoes made to make him the perfect height for the opponent. He's got a pair set to Lewisons height for Joyce and a pair at Bellews height for Haye. So when he takes his guy on the pads they are jabbing to the ideal height.

Joyce looks raw and poor so many mistakes this is why you don’t face a Joyce this early in your career

Looks wooden to me very poor movement

Lovely left jab that was it this was my concern he is not a young fighter so much to learn and change should’ve done this much earlier in his career

Great start showed everything there speed power great movement

Unimpressed with Joyce. Excellent jab and engine, but no snap to his punches and bar his jab, every other shot looked wooden and in slow mo. Wasn't over impressed with his defence either

Can't see him moving too far up the ranks unless there was a hell of a lot of first fight tension in his work (which I doubt).

Was at the show which had some very good bouts, I didn't miss a single one, couple not so good but that can be expected.

Joyce is getting so much unfair criticism, he bossed Lewison, and the majority of the crowd were supporting Lewison (more local etc). Joyce is a very good technical boxer, he walked Lewison around the ring and jabbed the fuck out of him. You can argue he should have beaten him earlier, but all the while Lewison was still throwing the big hooks it would have been foolish to completely unload.

You have to remember Lewison took a more experienced and potential world title contender, Dillian Whyte 10 rounds, he is no mug and Joyce absolutely dealt with him.

Willy Hutchinson was impressive but fighting a bum, but one to look out for was Tom Ansell who was very impressive on the early undercard.

Very large gypsy presence in support of Hutchinson and I'm pleased to say not a single spot of bother the whole evening. Really enjoyed it.

Erm , the full undercard was on the spike tv channel I think. Was watching something else so I didn’t catch it.

The fact that the ring seemed to be on a stage so only three sides of the crowd could see it was very strange.

As for MVP that was a bullshit stoppage and against anyone decent Page would get destroyed right now.

I also with they wouldn't keep saying the Venom bit of his name every time they talk about him , it's like saying Evander the real deal Holyfield every time.
