    Could've rested on his laurels and sat back and counted his big pay packets but he's worked his arse off to become a really decent premier league keeper and to get into the Irish senior squad.

    Gutted he won't be getting his just rewards by being in France. Never nice to see bad luck befall a fellow addick either.

    Was rooting for Moors' Joe Newton who played football with my son. The quality wasn't really there but the game got better. Great for Rob Elliot too and I was surprised he was the Gateshead manager.
