    Must say that I really though 310 wasn't enough , the bowling display was spot on. Two years ago we'd have lost that I feel.

    Let's send the Aussies home now.

    Outstanding bowling performance, especially from Rashid and Ball. Plunkett was a little expensive but got 4 wickets so is forgiven. Always nice when all the bowlers get at least a wicket each too.

    Bairstow's average in limited overs matches this season - 67.9

    We shouldn't be relying on winning games in spite of the form of players but because of the form of players.

    I agree though, there will come a time when it will come unstuck.

    With regard to the semis, I believe there should be an advantage given to the team that tops the group - say, like in County Cricket they are given the Toss win automatically.

    Weather forecast for Birmingham on Saturday is rain until about 4pm - so, seems like a shortened game, win the toss, put Oz in and slam dunk them out of the tourno.

    Don't follow cricket but there was a sports report at the start of the news just now and there was an Irish bloke talking and the caption said he was the England captain!

    The weather forecast for Friday looks good, so one of NZ and Bangladesh will get the win

    IF Saturday was a no result, then Australia would finish with zero net run rate presumably, so either Bangladesh or NZ would need a positive NRR to go through. NZ took a tonking yesterday so would need a really good win on Friday
