I really, really hope that this is a very clever, subtle answer and that I'VE missed something........however something tells me that I haven't.ForeverAddickted said:

Only real surprise is that it wasn't us dishing out a ridiculous contract to someone who would rarely play.cafctom said:No sympathy for Southend at all. Why on earth would you give someone with that background a contract; let alone a three and a half year one!

Don't take any phone calls from him0

You wouldn't catch any ex-Charlton legends getting caught up in this sort of thing.5

scored for the Shrimpers yesterday .. dangerous striker .. in more ways than one0

Ranger once told my friend in a nightclub that he was 'Nile Ranger the game changer'. As far as I'm concerned he's deserved everything he's got since then14

Former Premier League footballer Nile Ranger admits banking fraud
Former Premier League striker Nile Ranger has admitted an online banking fraud in which a woman lost more than £2,000.
The 25-year-old Southend United footballer pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud by obtaining bank details and transferring the money.1 -
shame as apparently he has settled down at southend and recently signed a new 3 year contract there.0

That's probably so the courts show him leniency when sentencing.kentaddick said:shame as apparently he has settled down at southend and recently signed a new 3 year contract there.
He's a wrong'un and deserves everything he gets

Earning a very decent living doing something we all would have loved to have done......what a complete knob end.
The picture with him brandishing the gun took the biscuit for me!
Find it difficult to understand how Sarfend can justify retaining him to be honest, great role model ain't he.2 -
In answer to the original question: In jail. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-400213080

I wonder why it took so long to sentence him, seeing that he confessed in January. He played regularly until the end of the season too0

Low life scum0

Its a conspiracy. If they had jailed him in January then Southend would have signed another striker (this time someone who could actually score goals) and thus would have finished 6th, above Millwall, and would now be in the Championship instead of the pikeys.killerandflash said:I wonder why it took so long to sentence him, seeing that he confessed in January.
