Why are most local news mobile sites the most infuriatingly thing to use ever ?
As I haven't got time to answer seven questions regarding the beauty salons I visit in order to read the article, can anyone answer a) when he was released ? b) does the article actually say he's in line to play a part this weekend ?
Depends on the individual. My brother for instance was on the 'good behaviour' wing, he was stabbed in the shoulder with a 'shiv' and someone attempted to choke him as a threat, in his cell... on the good behaviour wing... TWICE.
He remained locked up for the full 22 months despite not retaliating to either incident after the event.
He was actually imprisoned for an additional day because the prison 'lost' his release papers.
Just imagine if something had happened that night to him? They'd have pure hell to pay.
Yet scum like Nile the gun toting drug smoking Ranger get out in weeks.
However, the former Newcastle man's choice of celebration, taking off his boot and pretending it was a gun, did not go down well with the home support.
Back at Southend. Southend United have re-signed former Newcastle and Swindon Town striker Nile Ranger on "an incentivised month-to-month contract". https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55903111
It may be his 24th opportunity for redemption but surely he's reaching his last chance saloon. Southend are very poor this season and they are going to park a couple of coaches to stop conceding goals.
It sounds like Nile will play up front on his own.
Absolute waste of space. On his wiki page, the section on his criminal record is longer than the bit on his career.
Not even sure why clubs bother, it's not like there's much talent there (at least with Ravel Morrison you can understand clubs trying). In Ranger's 8 year club career he scored 26 goals and he's a striker.
Southend United striker Nile Ranger will miss the rest of the season with a groin injury picked up just 12 minutes into his professional football return.
The 29-year-old rejoined the League Two club last month, three years after being released because of "recurring disciplinary issues".
Ranger came on in the 77th minute of the Shrimpers' draw with Salford on 27 February, but limped off with injury.
"I'm bitterly disappointed for Nile," said Southend manager Mark Molesley.
Molesley added to BBC Essex: "I know how hard he's worked to get himself back in a physical state to be able to be on that pitch.
"I'm certainly hoping that's not the last we've seen of Nile - if he continues to show the right attitude and the determination he's shown to get back on the pitch, I'm sure he'll come back even hungrier and even better for the tough time he's going through now."
Southend are 22nd in League Two, two points above the relegation zone having played more games than some of their rivals.
He just makes you want to bang your head against a wall
Really good article where he talks about his opportunities and everything he's done wrong in life which is shocking - He's had so many chances though I cant feel sympathy towards him, his apologies each time at each club, only to relapse again feel empty
Some of the stuff in that article is ridiculous but a couple of things stand out.
"The contract was worth £10,000 a week and included a string of bonuses if I scored goals and made a certain number of appearances. I was still only 18 and hadn’t made my first-team debut"
And they wonder why young kids think they've made it?!
"I’m treated as the Osama bin Laden of football" - in the next sentence then says he turned down two perfectly good contracts for no real reason.
An interesting/shocking read - but I don’t really see the point of the article? It basically just lists every single reason why he’s a tosser. What was in it for him to ‘write’ it?

It's the whole 'man's a badman, innit' thing. He thinks it'll impress the cretins who hang around with him. In a few years - if he lasts that long - he'll just be another sad old cock looking back at what he might have achieved when he was younger.

He came off the bench on Saturday
Take a prison sentence and divide by 2 if you want to know the "real" amount of time served!

Thousands of players would bite your hand off for a chance like that. Stupid c*nt.
