Huddersfield Agreed Deal for THD? CONFIRMED - UNDISCLOSED FEE (pg 8)

It's not a major departure. It's just a depressing sign of the times that our best young players are being sold to Huddersfield.15
-
Wonder whether Slade has green lighted this or had any control at at all ?
THD is a promising young left back and should not be sold.
Who's the cover for Fox if he gets injured ? More evidence of the lack of ambition, and incomprehensible mess and ineptitude of this utterly rubbish regime.9 -
we all know where she can stick her unique proposition.Leeds_Addick said:dickplumb said:I am really pissed of with this. THD is an extremely promising player. We are nothing but a player farm.

EDIT: Can't get the cut clip option to work so I'll transcribe it.
"My proposition would be a unique kind of football fan experience and hopefully see the next stars of the premier league which we will have play for charlton for the first team and then sell on to the premier league"1 -
You only need 11 players.2
-
Lennon or Solly I suppose, with Foley at RB.vff said:Wonder whether Slade has green lighted this or had any control at at all ?

from what I have seen he has real potential. Bad move for us, good move for him. KM said 'fans can come to watch good football and see the Championship stars of the future'.2
-
Does not the fact the he would (will) be moving to a club in a higher division make nonsense of that? Slade has someone like Foley playing out of position on a five-month deal but we sell one of our better prospects because we can - and because that is the only interest these tossers have in running the club.Covered End said:

That's why I won't be back
Wrong, a miles better prospect than Fox9 -
I'm not pleased he's going & I hate the regime, but THD is not one of our major players.Airman Brown said:

If you asked the fans to name our top 11 major players, it's unlikely THD would feature highly.2 - Sponsored links:

I'm loving this unique fans experience , I've seen him play a few times and now he's off to the Premiership , oh hang on a minute , are we now producing young talent for any club with ambition ?1
-
Did someone say the other day that we only just had enough players to field a full matchday squad? Katrien on the bench?0
-
Does Tarieq want to be at the club?
Wasnt it someone on here who got a very frosty reception when asked about Charlton whilst on loan at Oldham and everyone was reading it as though THD would want to leave this summer5 -
Charlton in square peg , round holes shocker .1
-
I'm thinking along the same lines mate, hence my comment about him being first off the pitch at the end of the game on Saturday. Perhaps he had an inkling and wanted to go quietlyForeverAddickted said:Does Tarieq want to be at the club?

Perhaps she is selling THD to purchase our creative CM, then again I am sure I saw some pig like creatures fly over my house earlier2

Completely agree.Callumcafc said:It's not a major departure. It's just a depressing sign of the times that our best young players are being sold FOR PEANUTS to Huddersfield.
Short sighted. Showed real promise at championship level.
Would be great in a team that played attacking football with overlapping fullbacks. Is that not the way forward in football generally?
Belgian computer says NO!6 -
Bloody daft. Surely they've got enough money in from the sale of Pope, JBG and Cousins....and there's the fact our owner is minted.
Why weaken the squad by selling yet another player with potential?2 -
Don't be so silly FA, why on earth would anyone want to leave our beloved club, you know it's all Meire's fault!ForeverAddickted said:Does Tarieq want to be at the club?

Thats no good. Solly at left back has never worked well. Lennon is a centre back and not a left back. Another incomprehensibly useless & short sighted decision if THD is sold. One step forward more steps back. I hate this regieme. Just wish they would feck off and let some sensible, joined up football decisions to be made.Covered End said:

Maybe not all Nightmeire's fault on this occasion but could be six of one half a dozen of the other.Essex_Al said:

As far as I'm aware Ezri Konsa isn't one of our major players either, but he's started the last three games. On that basis, would it be OK to sell him too? After all, they might get an offer.Covered End said:

You need a squad to compete in any division and Holmes-Dennis is just the sort of young player who can progress and make a difference that the Foleys of this world never will at this stage in their career. More to the point, if these idiots have made any proposition to supporters it is that they will promote young players for fans to enjoy watching while they develop. How does that work if they only start five games before they are sold?

Maybe he's feed up with Meire's lies, with having already had 6 managers and being played out of position by some of them so ultimately yes maybe it is her fault.Essex_Al said:

We don't know and he hasn't even let yet but he's hardly been well served so far.9 -
I did feel he was messed about last season though... Came in under Fraeye / Luzon got sent off against Forest and then got hung out to dry before a loan move out of the blue to OldhamEssex_Al said:

It's a shame to see that THD isn't up for staying and battling with Fox for the LB spot.
Other than that it is alarmingly worrying to see how quickly and cheaply this board are willing to shift players for.9 -
Tossers0

And why would a young player, part of the senior squad of the club he started his career at want to leave? Couldn't possibly be anything to do with how the club is run, could it?Essex_Al said:

If you asked today then no. If you asked at the end of the season the answer may have been different. Unfortunately we will never find out as katrien the twat head had sold another good prospect, probably for a really low feeCovered End said:
