The people who attend Royal events are Folk who enjoy the comfort of being a subject or tourists who love to see the colour and pageantry
on their trips. Plus the Red arrows ETC.

Having spent 3 years living aboard when i was a boy,( in Africa)
I noticed on social days with other Adult Brits they spent the time
either slagging off the UK or saying how homesick they were !
Expats always seem to have this sweet and sour approach to Britain.

Still say Land of hope and glory is the way forward for the English.

Can't we have a referendum on it !

Whilst I agree our National Anthem isn't one of the best, and there are many times when it comes across as drab and dull, it certainly isn't the worst, and there are definitely times when it is belted out and CAN be uplifting and rousing...

You know damn well that your remark should and could easily have used the word "everyone" but you are just out to get a reaction so used the derogatory terms of black, whites, browns.

The point I was making was that people of races (black, white and brown) came together to celebrate various Royal occasions, thus galvanising the country. What is your issue with that?

Sorry I find it a dirge. Love the Welsh and Scottish anthems, can see why their supporters sing so passionately, but do not understand any love for ours. Fine for GB & NI at Olympics, but there should be something different for England.
